Last day of 2018

Monday, December 31, 2018

Bismillah. It is almost the end of 2018, now the clock shows 9.50pm. I just arrived home minutes ago, drenched in the rain.

Let me narrate  how’s my day on the 31st December 2018.

My day started at 9 am, went to the school for class teachers’ meeting and ended about an hour later. Then, up to the office for copying documents and i was thinking what should i do next when actually i readily know and realise there are a bunch of workload i should be doing. I have to ensure my class is all prepared for PdP on Wednesday, first day of school. I was moving so slowly because i was still dreading over becoming class teacher for year 5 hahaha. Okay, not funny. I should be grateful actually, my bad.

I went to m3 mall with a list to buy i wrote days before, and it was practically deserted. Not many people roaming around. I saw a takoyaki stall bear the entrance and if before this, I’ve never looked twice, this time being so lonely I thought alright, i’ll try and chose octopus filling. Rm4.90 for 3 which is just nice. This is only my second time eating that thing though and yeah, i think i’ll buy again.

Then, i looked for Old Town White Coffee because when i google there’s one here but none actually. Maybe, it has closed business. Okay, i went straight to The DIY shop and bought all the things on the list. It’s getting quite tiring and feeling drowsy after riding in the rain twice today.

That done, i went to school again and to my class to sort out few things and by 2pm, I went for Zuhr prayer and my stomach was hurting and decided to go for lunch at uia. I went downstairs and realised my class hasnt enough desks yet. Huwaaa. and i must go and search for them, another nine desks. I went few classes up and down lifting the desks to second floor where the class is. Exhausted i was and still i have to clean each desks to ensure they are not too dirty for school. Huh, and i finished about 3.30 pm and aint waste no time, went straight to Tastebud and had nasi goreng pattaya :D
Alhamdulillah.

Then, i went to surau for magrib prayer and was nervous 2019 is coming very soon hehe. i decided to recite the whole of surah al baqarah before magrib. unfortunately, tak sempat and i continue the next day.

that's all on the last day of 2018. Will write again on the year summary later. Thank you and assalamualaikum :D

How i save money

Thursday, December 27, 2018

Bismillah, assalamualaikum. Its almost the end of year 2018. I feel like listing the few  goals fulfilled during the year but let’s save that for another post. This one gonna be on savings 🤑

I bought this on pre order basis and since it was posted during the holidays, i just collected the parcel yesterday. In no time i finished this light reading book and looking forward to reread for a better understanding #prayforme 😂
Okeh, lets skip the intro and allow me to only focus on the three savings tip the author suggested.

1. Tabung Ekstrim
- i am too lazy to elaborate on this, please find a copy for yourself hehe

2. Tabung RM780; which i am planning to do this coming year and the photo above clearly showed my enthusiasm 💸😆

3. Tabung 52 minggu = rm1378/year ; which i did this year. Unfortunately for me, only survived until the eleventh week. Reason being, im always short on cash and rarely have a bundle of cash in hand #nakcakaptakdeduitsebenarnya 😂 thus its kinda hard for me to be consistent 😌 i should try harder

And last one which i did in 2017 and managed to collect about rm500 ; saving the green notes. Yup, the rm5 notes i made it a habit to keep it aside. And guess what, when i was still studying, i aimed to save green notes to buy an oven for baking and i succeed 🥰 alhamdulillah. The power of planning and having a clear vision. My big why at that time was to buy an oven to bake cakes. And, when i went to the cashier to pay, ayah was surprised to see all the green notes hahaha

To end, i chose this saving plan as it is affordable to me and i hope to make it by the end of the year InshaAllah. I am yet to think the collected money will be used for what reason, soon to come.

I believe we all have our own saving style, and nothing is wrong as long as we’re comfortable with that. There’s no right or wrong here.

For your info, i only used worn Tupperware box and wrap with the gift wrapper and tadaa, ready to be used! DIY at home at no cost.

Till then, wassalam.

Melaka Two Days Seminar

Monday, December 17, 2018

Bismillah. Assalamualaikum. Hai guys. I'll share about my two days seminar on LGBT awareness at D' Village Resort, Ayer Keroh, Melaka from 13 to 15th of December.

I went there with K Yana and her family on the evening of the 13th. We have to get there by night for the final meeting and to check on everything, we arrived around 10pm. I actually know no one there, because it is a national event so many of us came from different states and okay, i'll make new friends there :)

The first day was packed until night and few breaks. Since i performed solat jamak dan qasar, so not rushing too much. The second day lasted until 5 p.m so i got ample time to book for Grab heading to Melaka Sentral.

Alright, back to the seminar content, there were seven slots altogether. Among the speakers are Dr Ahmad Solehin from Jabatan Agama Islam, Dr Siti Aishah Hassan, Dr Ahmad Rostam, psychiatrist from Hospital Putrajaya, Cikgu Mohd Esa, 2 decades experience as school counsellor and the most awaited slot from the ex Lesbian & ex Gay.

Honestly, the slot i cant stand or i feel like refusing to listen was from the ex and the psychiatrist -__-. Terrible, me grieving over what is happening to our society and the thought of my family and future kids. With abundant of true cases laid out by them just made me feel sick instantly. Ya Allah, help us ;(

This was my second time attending such seminar, the first was last year in September 2017. I recalled coming back from the program with the same feeling this time, only that the worries have tremendously increased. This made me look at people differently and there's so much more to do and for the asatizah to deliver. huhu

Oh, gladly i wanted to share the activities we did during the slot.

but first, the manpowers :D

us with the awesome participants

four activities

 now no more secrets to you hihi

yup, three pictures i fell in love at first sight, books, freshly baked breads and some kind of western food :D

Four activities we did it individually;
1) write our names big enough on the paper, strictly names without borderline. Reason, border is an obstruction for us to express our feelings - Dr Aishah said, not me.

2) choose three pictures from the given magazine. Must choose anything that you liked at first sight, no thinking twice. Reason, because the pictures described yourself. Must fold the paper and write My Secret Garden.

3) Khauf & Raja' concept. Draw the outline of our hands, left and right. On the right hand, write five things that you hoped for (Raja') and on the left hand drawings, write five things that you are afraid @ worried of (khauf). Then, find a friend which you'll read all the ten things you prayed for and she has to listen and aminkan your prayer :)

4) take a piece of A4 paper, cut into four and colour the best colour you thought suitable for four emotions - sad(black), happy(blue), fear(grey) and angry(red). Mine was in the brackets (not in the picture coz we've to put all the papers in the boxes)

Before I end, i boarded a bus from Melaka Sentral to TBS, immediately after the program i booked for Grab, unfortunately Grab service is so poor there :(
I waited for more than 30 minutes but none. So i asked for a friend i newly engaged (hehe) to send me there alhamdulillah. I boarded the bus at 630 pm, 30 minutes later than planned and arrived at TBS at 845pm. Prayed Jamak Ta'khir at the surau and took LRT and Grab home. Arrived home safely at 1045pm.

Monday, December 10, 2018

Alhamdulillah. Setelah dua minggu mom di KL jaga pulong pantanghari ni bertolak balik kampung 🥰

Semoga semuanya selamat sampai. Walaupun sedih jugak tak dapat balik kampung cuti sekolah yang panjang ni, takpe la nak buat macam mana. Lagipun, kat sini pun mom ada selama dua minggu ni.

Masa mula mak sampai, bawak mok pergi Giant Kota Damansara beli barang sikit dan nak makan. Tapi, sebab situ takde food court dan nak kejar waktu melawat 12.30-2 petang, tak dan nak makan. Dah siap beli barang, naik Grab ke Hospital Sungai Buloh. Alhamdulillah pulong discharged hari tu. Syukur sangat sebab pulong tak berhenti mesej dan call bagitau baby menangis. Wad pulak tak boleh ada peneman. Alhamdulillah.

Tu semua hari lain-lain. Lepas tu, request mak buat pengat pisang. ‘Maka nikmat manakah lagi yang kamu dustakan?’ (Surah ar Rahman)

Mok pulak bila tanya nak makan tu ke dop, jawapan mok tokse jah sokmo 😴 Takpe, kita beli je. Mok biasanya kata gitu sebab tak nak susahkan anak-anak.

Masa hujung minggu nak bawak mok jenjalan di The Curve, tapi risau nak bawak takut mok tak larat sakit kaki. Jadi, ganti dengan food delivery je la.

On the way balik kampung, mok mari singgah rumah sewa kat Gombak ni kejap.

Minggu seterusnya pun mula la cikgu masuk sekolah. Hehe

In whatever you do, give your best 😘

‘Ala kulli hal, syukur kepada Allah.

yummy, this time finally i chose the scrumptious one

this is all i need

pengat pisang, kuah tak pekat sebab gula melaka takde

nutella cheese tart. Sedap sangat sampai teringat2

this one fail. order lain bagi lain. please bakers, dont necessarily add something customers dont request. huh
last, with the special one :D

First time aunt

Saturday, December 01, 2018

Bismillah. Assalamualaikum.

Alhamdulillah after nerve wracking moment she made me an aunt. Thank  you dear niece 😘

She is so tiny, 2.06 kg 😱

Alhamdulillah she’s doing fine and in the pink of health.

And... mokdik gave her the very first present   🎁

Cant wait to see her in this. Met her first time on her third day on the earth alhamdulillah. By the way, she was born on November 27th.

Right now mokdik is busy babysitting her hahha

Amiin.

Tips Konsisten Baca al Waqi’ah setiap malam

Tuesday, November 20, 2018

Bismillah. Sempena Maulidurrasul ni, saya kongsikan tips di bawah.

1. Surah ni ada 96 ayat
2. Bahagikan kepada 4 bahagian
3. Baca 2 bahagian dalam setiap solat Magrib & Isyak
4. Jadi, lengkap 4 bahagian

Cara baca:
Rakaat pertama Magrib: Ayat 1-23
Rakaat kedua Magrib: 24-50

Rakaat pertama Isyak: 51-74
Rakaat kedua Isyak: 75-96

Contoh kalau malas @ tak sempat baca panjang-panjang masa solat, boleh baca sebelum tidur, sekali dengan surah al Mulk.

Ayat-ayat al Waqi’ah ni pendek-pendek, jadi walaupun bunyi 96 ayat tapi sebenarnya sekejap saja baca 😇

Dan.. apakah mesej tersirat dari tips ni?
Kena hafal surah ni, kalau dah hafal alhamdulillah kalau belum boleh la mula hafal.

Menghafal sewaktu muda ibarat menulis di atas batu, menghafal sewaktu tua ibarat menulis di atas pasir. Yang penting never give up.

Selamat beramal ❤️

Gratitude

Tuesday, November 20, 2018

I remember the days i prayed for what i have now 😢

Back in lower primary i pray to get straight As in PMR and secure a place in a girls boarding school.

Allah answered my prayer.

Before enrolling to a boarding school, i prayed hardly to have a good friend circle who’ll bring me closer to Him and be a good person.

Allah answered my prayer.

I prayed hard to pass with flying colours during my foundation and ensure me to grad within a year.

Allah answered my prayer.

I prayed to get close with those sisters with long jilbab and huffaz.

Allah answered my prayer.

I prayed to be with good friends.

Allah answered my prayer.

I prayed to get Dean’s List in almost every semester.

Allah answered my prayer.

I prayed to be able to tasmi’ my hafazan in front of a teacher.

Allah answered my prayer.

I prayed to grad with my friends and not later.

Allah answered my prayer.

I prayed to finish my Masters within one and a half year.

Allah answered my prayer.

There are bundle of things i prayed for and Allah answered them all. Alhamdulillah ‘ala kulli hal.

So, which of the Lord’s favour do you deny?
(Surah ar Rahman)

And for all the things that are yet to realise, trust Allah. What He planned is beyond our thoughts. And, He always decides for the best. Always.

Salam Maulidurrasul ❤️

Allahumma solli ‘ala Muhammad.

Mid life dilemma

Wednesday, November 14, 2018

Miserable. Gloomy. Low spirited. Dejected.

What i felt these days. Dislike my current position, where i’m staying with no progress, no added knowledge.

I feel like in honeymoon this two years. I badly wanted to do something to improve, additional value for myself.

When i see them in convocation just last week, i pitied myself for just laying down and not doing anything fruitful. I planned and Allah give me better planning I trust Him.

Earlier on, i surveyed for Arabic short course to improve my Arabic because some day i intend to pursue shariah postgraduate diploma for my islamic banking background. I kinda delayed it after i found one short course in Celpad but i dont go for it fast enough. Then, when i received the PhD offer letter, after careful consideration istikharah istisyarah, i decided to defer it first and pay rm50 penalty which i don’t pay yet. Actually, 98% in me wanted to just start the semester in last September but the remaining 2% comes from mom and my lecturer. Recently, found out a specific course LLM Islamic Banking & Finnace, a postgrad degree @ master. The course is for three semesters totalling around rm18K with rm5K each semester. This course really excites me since ive long searching for such course. For now, i dont have enough money unfortunately. Now, comes the thinking to quit my teaching. I’ve been there for two years and i dont feel the job is for me. It just dont sastisy me being there, very stagnant with unending work loads. Work load is fine, only that i feel i’m not progressing anywhere. Just repeating similar routines, quarrel & laughter everyday. I want to do something else. Sign up for a professional cert, advance studies in shariah & complete the highest degree in education level. When i go to school, i feel very little and bringing benefits to no one. Im also sick of people looking down and cannot stop asking when im changing the job. I could only smile. Thanks anyway 🙂

Such a jealous person, i envy my housemates for their struggles in Masters study. Juggling between classes and job. I completed mine two years back, still i envy them and i had the feeling i’m useless most of the time i saw them burning the midnight oil to study 😔 I want to get engaged in piles of books and reading materials; miss the moments.

This doesnt include the fact many of my friends circle are married. I used to have frequent chats and small talks with them who are wives now and it looks like i lost many friends through marriage. Sad truth. Maybe i should get married first and then i could join them or maybe we’ll go our separate ways. I understood a wife has loads of house chores to do, friendship may become something far away. Especially, a wife has a husband to pour all the stories and chit chats and everything under the sun. Maybe, i’ll be there someday too and i’ll understand much better 🙂

Ya Allah show me the way, i’m such a weak khalifah i need Your help.
Astaghfirullahalazim.

Gerai Air Bancuh

Saturday, October 27, 2018

Assalamualaikum. Ditunggu sebab tak sabar nak habis program ni, berdebar sebab tak pandai buat air 😢

Tapi, esok takde pilihan dah. Haha. Bukan setakat kena buat air 5 balang, tapi kena jual okei. Debarnya.

Sebelum tu nak cerita kisah pergi beli barang. Barangnya semua nak beli di Chow Kit, macam menakutkan bila sebut Chow Kit tu kan? 😅

Ramai cikgu lain pesan hati-hati kat sana, pegang beg elok-elok, kereta jangan tinggal barang berharga dll. Lega rasa tak kena pergi CK tu, banyak hikmahnya Alhamdulillah.

semangat betul wording kat bawah tu ☺️

Sunday Night

Tuesday, October 23, 2018

Sunday night for me is the day i will get things ready for the coming week.

Tonight, after Magrib proofread the conference paper Part 1. Done at 9 pm and i went for shower and laundry (manual). Actually i have this feeling whenever i dont do my laundry in days, it will keep coming to me that i must wash the clothes there and then. Sometimes, it feels extra disturbing :0

Then, prayed Isyak and Witir, read Quran a bit and hang the clothes outside. It’s time for mask and i mix the Mary Jardin Detox Clay Mask with Plain Yogurt and let it be for like 10 minutes. In the mean time, i folded the clean clothes.

That done, i wash the mask with Facial Soap, and ended it with Face Oil and Face Mist. Haa, my skin feels so tender and healthy this time 🤩

And then, i see the watch and it's 5 minutes to 11 pm. Fuuh.

I have another two parts to proofread but first i must eat. I prepared instant bihun brand Pama and licked off the bowl in seconds haha.

Then, off i go to settle the rest of the documents. That thing done by 1 am and quickly i emailed to the student and doze off 😴😴

Oh yeah, i also did my ironing lump sum for the week, thanks to the Amway Philips Steam Iron. You really ease my burden ☺️

That’s it. Till then. Wassalam.

Badminton Night

Tuesday, October 16, 2018

Assalamualaikum. Hai there 🌸

It’s been the second week in October. Just a quick update tonight. The clock shows 1.34 am now and ive just done with laundry. What a back pain it is, since I hand washed the clothes.

Alright, tonight i went for Usrah Sukan at Sinamax Sri Gombak and it was my first time joining them. We went for Usrah Sukan regularly but when it comes to usrah sukan, i was somewhat absent 😂 Sports is not really my thing, anyway being a first  timer is always something to remember kiki. We played for two hours (badminton) and it was worth it 🤩

**okay i want to put the group photo here but it cant upload using phone. I’ll figure out later.

alhamdulillah :D

By the way, I’m doing fine alhamdulillah. Final exam has started this week and I should get prepared for marking very soon and for the bundled events at the end of the year.

Emm i think that’s all. Not much to update.

Oh, just to pen here, i went to a school trip to two places end of September and i really want to share it here just like past year. The thing is this upload thing is not working so i should fix it first.

Nope, im not sighing or complaining. The reason behind this malfunctioning is I changed to a new phone recently and i’m still you know, getting hang of it hahaha. Alhamdulillah.

If you ask about my reading, just visit hatihatisite.wordpress.com and i’m currently  enjoying The Martian novel by Andy Weir. A space mission and the hero stranded on Mars 😱

Last but not least, always remember to love yourself and the only people loving you unconditionally is your parents ❤️

Me and Books

Saturday, September 29, 2018

the world was hers for the reading

Bismillah.
Today, on this serene weekend, i’ll share my love on books! Yes, you read it right. Books !

Sounds lovely? Hehe

Orait, to start with, i read  a lot of books. I mean a huge lot, since i was a young girl with no money. I saved everyday and at the end of the month @ in two months time, i'll ask ayah to bring me to bookshop in Kota Bharu, either Pustaka Seri Intan or Syarikat Muda Osman (SMO). I read many kinds of books up until  a point i can form my own opinion from the author and i beg to differ from the authors’ views. No, i dont mean im boasting over myself, but that is just what happens when you do read.

Before, when i see people discussed on things about books and the authors’ views and share their own, i had a conflict @ inner crisis with myself. I keep thinking why i am yet to form my own opinion? I feel so lame and angry with myself for that incapability. Later on the stage of my life, with increasing age haha, i am now proud to say i am mature enough to at least create an argument with the author and not everything they say i agree. I am not carried away by the winds anymore and i believed i stood on my ground firmly.

Come on, i mean what we read do influence us. Just to give an example to make it clearer, when one author comment about the bad experience he had about one political party, and you arent matured enough, you’ll just follow suit and agree with what he said. Another one, when one author wrote a book on this title but she deliberately talked mostly unrelated to the title, you know you dont like the book ahahah. Or, when you read books and you decided you wont go near the authors’ book anymore because you kinda guessed what the book will say hihi. Nonetheless, you’ll find many more books that are eye openers, informative and you’ll of course love the author.

I quite dont believe how patient i was during younger times and i feel like turning back to those time. Not only because i was more patient but beacuse i dont have to think of many things. (and no worries whatsoever about paying bills :p) Okay back to the topic. I was patient to wait until i was in lower form to buy the educational magazines like e-Siswa, Dewan Siswa and to wait until upper secondary to buy for the appropriate edu mags like Fokus SPM. And i waited until i was done with schools to start buying another books other than exercise books like motivational books and other stuffs. When i was still at school, i always rationalize myself telling things like rm20 for a book can buy me FOUR exercise books. I started shopping on lots of motivational, religious and mind blowing books when i was in matriculation. At that time, all matric students received allowance per semester. I cant remember how much. And these shopping continues until.... RIGHT NOW! Hihi. I recalled ayah asking me, dont uni students only read story books? Hehehe i told him we have this semester thingy and when a semester ended, we will learn new courses the next semester hence i dont read those heavy textbooks during semester breaks :D

I will read heavy materials type of books in my room and focused. For light material type of books like story books, i’ll just read it everywhere. I always despise myself if i dont bring any books as a company anywhere i go -_- huhu That’s just plainly me.

One more thing is, i'd love to share what i read but many just dont bother. Okay, they even laughed at me. Its alright because i had long created a wordpress specially for books sharing.

Here is the link, you might want to see it, so here you go!

Rezeki dari Allah

Sunday, September 23, 2018

Bismillah.

Hmmm.

~~~
Hari Sabtu ada tusyen macam biasa untuk upsr, kelas terakhir sebab minggu depan dah periksa. Lepas habis kelas, maknya Iman bagi hadiah dalam paper bag Rina Salleh Clothing.
Allah.. terkejut tengok. Dah selalu dok skrol-skrol tengok dress RSC sebab cantik dan ekslusif cuma belum mampu lagi nak beli sendiri.
Balik rumah, bukak kotak tengok ada printed blouse RSC dan sepasang handsock RSC. Handsock pulak warna greyish, sama dengan handsock yang tak boleh pakai tu 😢
Allahu. Maka nikmat Allah yang manakah kamu dustakan? Allah memberi rezeki dalam keadaan yang tak disangka-sangka. Allahuakbar. Kitalah yang selalu leka dan alpa huhu.
Blouse tu pulak memang cantik dan selesa. Lama dah dok tengok di website rsc, rupanya Allah rezekikan dapat baju tu.
Allah bukan setakat ganti handsock tu, tapi Allah tambah lagi. Dapat blouse cantik tu ;'(
Alhamdulillah alhamdulillah syukur kepada Allah.
Benarlah, hikmah tu ada di mana-mana. Tinggal kita sahaja yang sedar atau tidak.
Ya Allah, ampunilah dosa hambaMu ini yang selalu bersangka-sangka. Bantulah aku untuk sentiasa bersangka baik dengan setiap perancanganMu ya Allah. Sesungguhnya aku hambaMu yang lemah.
Azam Tahun Baru Hijri
Tuesday, September 11, 2018
Bismillah.
Azam tahun baru 1440 H ni ada satu je, buat masa ni iaitu nak habiskan hafalan Surah al Baqarah.
Mula hafal lama dah, malu nak sebut 😅
Hafal, tinggal hafal tinggal. Jadinya dulu terakhir sempat hafal dan ingat sampai muka surat terawal juzuk 2.
Sekarang ni, target nak habiskan hafalan by Disember 2018. Maksudnya ada dalam 3 bulan lebih lagi. Sekarang baru muka surat 22. Ada dalam 20 muka surat lebih lagi nak kena hafal, dan nak kena murajaah balik juzuk 1.
Semoga Allah bantu dan permudahkan hambaNya yang dhaif ni.
yeah i will :)
Bismillah.
Life offers me many choices, which sometimes i thought i could have chosen better options.
Anyhow, i learnt along the way not to regret on my decisions. I used to always affirm myself before deciding on any matters especially big ones.
I cried the first time i saw on the screen i got accepted into uia and i dont appreciate it at that time mainly because i was applying for overseas unis. Some relatives even coaxed me to register at matriculation centre and take up on biological science course and lead a path to become a medical doctor. I recalled Abe Joe talking with me in a dismal tone over the phone after he got to know i scored a B for my biology paper. He is a surgeon himself and only later on i realised he wanted me to be a doctor. But, i’ve chosen another path for myself even before i completed my SPM. I'm sorry :(
At secondary school, i thought it looked cool for adults because they have more serious discussions and they have bills to pay. Ridiculous. Being and adult myself, i tell you paying bills are not cool or awesome at all haha. Serious discussions are sometimes good and other times give you headache and look at how I envy my small students for them not having any problems to think of. Living so freely and lively. Nonetheless, this doesnt mean we should not enjoy living as adults because we should appreciate and see the beauty in everything. That’s how you’ll enjoy life much better.
When i was  a student at uni, i only think about my grades, studies, quizzes, exams and those things. I never thought about earning money because i have that education loan. Many friends were asking, why dont i got myself a scholarship and others dont believe i was loaning from ptptn. Sometimes, i just smile. It turned out that i had terrible experience with scholarships from degree to masters study. Maybe, it is just not fated for me. I wrote about this once before.
Now, im earning myself a salary every month on a job that i am not really into. Or, i liked it but not for a profession.
Most of the times, i reflected on myself and i choose to say positive words, positive things and smile. But, when i dont like something or someone, i just cant hide it. I believed it is shown all over my face. My bad.
Now, i actually should be doing something else, but just wanna pen down something here. I cant believe i have been writing for some years now and i hope i will still.
PhD advices to me
Saturday, September 01, 2018
I told you i met Dr Al and this is what she told me in one hour.
Image result for phd
i believed this all my heart
1. This is the time when you feel you have a very intimate and close relationship with Allah.
2. People will not understand you, they will give support but the cant fully understand what are you experiencing, even the husband himself.
3. It is a very lonely journey, it is all about you.
4. People wont tell or motivate you or keep your heads up except for yourself.
5. You will face moments when people will criticise or speak negatively of your work, and you must be able to defend yours. If you dont’ who else?
6. Discipline. Focus. Discipline. You cant lose track, you must have discipline and focus.
7. Eat, Sleep, Shower with your work. Cant leave it.
this is scary :0
8. You must not let a single day pass without working in progress for your thesis, everyday should have progress even a tiny one, even just a single line and even just arranging your materials and what not. All that matters. To keep the spirit high and visible.
Allahu.
So, which of your Lord’s favour do you deny? :’(
-----------------------------------------------------
I planned to pursue my study since before this, last year. It is already in my planning, written in my planner and i visioned it clearly.
July came when i completed my application for September intake, and i submitted it on the closing date which fell on my birthday, at the end of July.
I drafted a plain proposal and clicked the Sent button. I was sure if alumni applied, 99% chance will be approved and i constantly told my friends who are applying for masters, dont worry.You’ll be accepted. But when it came to me, there is still that jittery feeling haha.
Alhamdulillah, it didnt take long before they approved my application.
And.. my jaw dropped when i see the total fees i have to pay on the enrollment date. I didnt expect that amount actually. (my bad because i dont ask my friend who already enrolled last semester) And there was  a huge difference between the full time and part time student fees :0
I searched for Yayasan Bank Rakyat Pinjaman Pelajaran Boleh Ubah (PPBU) which i saved before and ready to apply. But still i have to pay the entrance fees. I called and email the postgrad office and they say i must pay whatever stated in the offer letter and i am allowed to shift to part time study the next semester (because part time fees is much affordable) *the calling part aint easy because for the thousand times, someone did pick up my call. Huh. Uia is well known for its disability to pick up calls hihi.
Today, i arranged a meeting wih Dr. Al and went to her room after school. I listened to her for about an hour and i have a  heavier feeling that i should pursue this now. But, i still need to consult with mom.
Tonight, i called her. Asked again for her opinion. And she soothingly adviced me on the path im taking. She said, “ Allah Maha Mendengar. Allah tahu niat baik, cita-cita nak sambung belajar tu. Allah akan bagi dan mudahkan bila tiba masanya “ I asked, but when? Huhu. She continued “the time will come. Dont do things hastily” i dont mom, i planned this some times ago L  but yes i feel it would be a bit uneasy because im riding bike and it would be better if i have a car, easier to commute especially when i need to bring my thick books, laptops and etcetera. “yeah, it is. There are many things you have to consider, like schools. Of course you will have to attend and do many school events and how would you handle if you are still unprepared about this? How’s your students? Will they be neglected because the teacher has too much things in a plate? dont do yet if you are unsure” i’m sure and certain mom i badly wanted to pursue, but the only thing in mind is im scared especially  after meeting with Dr. Al. I dont even started reading any materials yet” i told her, i also think i would be uncomfortable when im currently sharing rooms and focused on studying would be a big deal. This is not an easy thing, i say this repeatedly. She concluded, “ to me, it is better you defer first. Because i can see there are many problems like no transportation, study place, fees and in sha Allah the best time will come for you to pursue”
Me, on the other hand; like i told you, i am 90% sure i will start this semester and when Dr. Al mentioned about discipline, focus and being alone; the percentage dropped and dropped again when i spoke to mom. Maybe because im in a situation which doesnt fit now. I already planned im going to use this part of money to pay for the fees, prepare to change my room a bit to make room for study area, buy a printer at KL Fest, HP brand, prepare to let go my mengaji class after school, prepare to break the news to Guru Besar only, prepare to apply for scholarships and already withdraw money for the registration.
See, i posted about this three years back;
