Lesson learnt

Assalamualaikum.
Last night, this kakak asked me about raya haji holiday.
I said, yeahh. We'll have a long holiday again 😅
Then, i said this and that.

Unconscious, i said something i shouldnt 👻👻

Many friends getting married this raya season.

And, you know casually she'll later asked you things on that as someone would if you're yet to get married when you long reach the age 😂😂

She asked if I already have someone 😅😅

Thanks kakak for that 😬

Embarassed i was. I learnt not to bring out the topic again 😑

Office Politics

Monday, July 24, 2017

Assalamualaikum.

I've worked in few offices, hence exposed to a term i'd come across, "office politics".

If you're a newbie 😝, this simply means politics not only surround the politician, or in a big view like a government. A small office in the far away city also has its politics 😎

An employee may not like the way the boss works. An employee might not be satisfied with the other colleagues he/she is working with.
An employee might be backbiting each other in their absence.
An employee might be 'talam dua muka', portaying only good things and sweet words in front of the boss, whilst saying the worst thing at the back.

Hmm.
It seems endless.

You, being a new person in the office, do not ever follow suit. Pick your ground and stick with it though that could mean you'll be unpopular or sometimes called a nerd 🤗

I despise it whenever i met a new person and came another person telling me 'not nice things' of him/her. It is just dissappointing. 😑

~Dont confuse my personality and my attitude . My personality is me being myself, but my attitude depends on you ~

Wassalam. See you soon 😇

Anniversary

Sunday, July 23, 2017
Assalamualaikum. Hai everyone 😇

July marked one year anniversary living in this rented house. It has been a year 😅

I recalled how reluctant i was to move back then, having to say good bye to my private space at mahallah 😂

A year living with friends and im glad i made it. 💪
Alhamdulillah. I learnt a good many things here. I was afraid I might not adapt (although all tenants are actually my uni friends😅).

When i first moved, i told myself few crucial things.

1. Have a big heart @ berlapang dada
- this one is important, since you gonna live with people who are different from you, came from different background and not everybody will understand you
- habits and life routines differ too and the varieties is what made a good life 😇
- it's a bliss Allah created us this and that way, we learn the beauty of appreciation

2. Give more, Expect less
- dont expect too much from anybody
- at times, you'll feel unsatisfied or angry at petty things but just hold it inside and do lots of istighfar
- if you let the anger out, believe me things wont turn out the same as before
- later, you'll learn the beauty of patience (though im not really the one)

3. Always pray to Allah to give you a good surrounding, good friends and good life
- friends are like a mirror. This i always stressed on students. The importance of making good friends.

But, this isnt gonna last long. Many of us are moving to a new phase in life soon. I pray the best for them though i'll be left behind 😩

Thanks for being there 😘

Wallahua'lam.
