Rants PKP 3.0

Saturday, June 12, 2021

Assalamualaikum. Hai guys.

Today we are still in PKP 3.0

School will resume (online learning) the day after the morrow

This morning i had webinar al hikmah with fellow teachers from 9.30 until 12 noon

After that, i went out to pick my order (nasi ayam penyet + nescafe ais), had lunch and prayed Zuhur. It rained heavily at 3pm and i dozed off until 5.30 pm.

And, now i am sorting out the to do list for tonight and later

Normally, the first thing i would do before doing my work is to turn on you tube to listen to some music. but tonight i found this video and i cried

This is a touching video and i just love the content

These past two weeks, i had been listening and watching to indonesian talk shows - and i learnt something for sure

Another thing is, i always admire and looked up if the celebrities read.. yup, what more if they quoted or mentioned the books that i read as well

Some of the snapshots.

I've always loved people with brains. I found that indo talkshows are often inspirational, moving and offering something to the viewers. Not plain and boring.

Honestly, i dont even know who is dewi sandra, for dian sastro i think i've heard the name when i was at school. But i could say they both are real good.

Thank you for inspiring.

p/s my current book is Emma, Jane Austen

It's Ramadhan!

Sunday, April 18, 2021

Assalamualaikum everyone. Alhamdulillah thumma alhamdulillah.

Today is already 6th Ramadhan and thank you Allah for this opportunity and rizq to meet this holy month yet again. Syukur.

A year passed after the emergence of covid in our life worldwide and it is still here, in the community. 3 million people died due to this deadly virus - according to today's news.

The mosques are open for tarawih but with certain restriction, and current case of covid is showing an upward trend and highly worrying especially thinking about the coming eid huhu.

Lets not think about that now.

For this Ramadhan, im working towards

- khatam Quran

- do not miss tarawih

- do nawafil prayers

- do not miss tahajjud

- istighfar 100 times

- selawat 100 times

- memorise 5 hadith from the 40 Hadith

- finish tafsir hamka Juzuk 1

- finish tajwid book just bought

Being 29 years old, you just wanted to do more and better.

My routine during Ramadhan - during the day, go to school as usual and comes home at 3.30. Then, about 6 pm - go out for iftar food, either simple food at bazar or pick up at nearby restaurant. Iftar, maghrib - pray Isyak and tarawih in congregation at home - tadarus at 9.45 with usrah mates till 10.30, video call family - turn on laptop, do some work until get tired haha

Above all, alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal. Till then, ilalliqo'

I Love School Gombak 2021

Monday, December 28, 2020

Assalamualaikum. Hope everyone is doing fine inshaAllah.

Yesterday, I joined the program of giving out school supplies and donations to those who are less fortunate around Gombak, precisely in Hulu Klang.

I was in Team B, and we had to reach out to 5 houses and one of them wasnt available, so we managed to deliver the donation to four kids.

7.50 am : Departed from home

8.05 am : Arrived in Pusat Tarbiyah dan Dakwah HK

8.30 am : Breakfast with yummy nasi lemak & trip briefing

9.00 am : Started the journey, straight to the first house

11.00 am : Done with all 4 houses

11.30 : Home sweet home. Nap time haha

Enjoy the pics :)

House 1

This house in Kemensah. Orphaned kiddos, single mom with 5 small kids and this one is the eldest. You have to turun bukit  a bit and vehicles cannot reach this house.

House 2

Parents are not at home when we arrived. The mom is a small scale tailor with 5 kids and dad lost his job due to the pandemic.

House 3

Granddad as representative because the family wasnt home. Single mom with two kiddos.

House 4

Shahir and Aina. Very nice, soft spoken and respect the elders. Single mom of 8. Sells aiskrim malaysia for a living.

Since this is the last house, we took some time for pep talks.

Yup, that's all. This is an annual program for Nisa' Gombak and usually I cant join because Im always at hometown when this took place, end of year. This time around, the school holidays are a bit shifted and so i could join alhamdulillah.

Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal.

Is it really July now?

Monday, July 06, 2020
Assalamualaikum everyone :)

Suddenly we are in July - already. Barely we have done many things this year or going places. Above all, alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal.

MCO has a lot to teach us and if we dont take a single lesson from this period - i dont know what else huhu

It was the period where everyone, literally everyone in this whole wide world have to stay at home - going nowhere no matter how rich you are, how important or famous - we are all the same. Suddenly, to save the world; you just have to do one thing - staying home.

It was a tough three months (March to early June) though - especially to those who are directly affected. I kept thinking about people like stall owners (do we call them hawkers?), those who receive payment on daily basis. Allahu

To Allah only we hope and rely on. (i've this one piece of du'a to calm ourselves, to really believe and put trust and hope only only to Him - i'll share later)

I watched documentaries on how airline industry will take longer time to recover - because people are still scared. Even if the air is open now, abroad flight still dont run as usual. I saw an interview and there's this woman said - she has been involved in aviation for four decades and had never experienced anything at this scale - planes are amassed on ground and forced them to find a huge area to put them all. Not only that, planes have to be maintained and always checked to ensure it does not get serious damage due to not flying. Yeah.

Aircraft company like Boeing and Airbus insider saying - they are always on high demand but they couldnt supply enough. They didnt stop producing more and more aircrafts until this pandemic - everything sits still.

I watched our local airline, Air Asia and Tony Fernandes saying - they have been through all seasons - thick and thin ; tsunami, economic crisis, sars but this pandemic is something else.

That's only about an industry.

Let's see our holy and sacred place, the focus of all Muslims, receiving millions of pilgrims during hajj season and out of blue (on Allah's will) - it turns out empty. It was a really rare sight - seeing Masjidil Haram vacant. Allahuakbar. I shared my sympathy with a colleague who should be going for hajj this year. She said Allah plans the best :)

PM was quoted saying - we cant close the economy forever; hence the start of opening one by one industry but with strict regulation.

Moving to the kids. Me being a primary school teacher, a private one with a limited space. Im trying to imagine how well the kids will adapt to this new norm. Kids being kids - they run, play, touch here and there, run again, insensitive to their own hygiene, eat together with friends, play and run some more haha

Teachers will become the new frontliners. It wont be easy with the kids, but somehow we'll manage. Pray for the best.

Wallahua'lam

The Wait

Tuesday, March 27, 2018

Assalamualaikum. I have loads of stories to share but as for now, let's read on the most recent story - Siti Aafiyah.

I need not introduce the baby. Last night, i watched few scenes in the video of the majlis aqiqah and tahnik.

Siti Nurhaliza is quoted saying ,

"What makes her (Siti Aafiyah) special is because of the wait. I prayer for her not every day but not a single minute passed without praying to Allah for this nikmat,  having a baby'

When asked for advice, she said,

"I dont give up, never. Instead, i keep positive and tell myself, Siti, Allah will give you at the right time"

Datuk K added,

" I waited longer for a baby girl and after EIGHTEEN years, Allah fulfilled my prayer. When i built this house 18 years ago, i build a room for my girl but it has no occupant until today, Siti Aafiyah "

Masha Allah. Allah's blessing is indeed vast and far beyond our limited knowledge 😊😊

Short Tazkirah : Jaga Solat

Sunday, March 26, 2017

Bismillah. Assalamualaikum. 😊

Jaga Solat.

Allah Maha Mengetahui.

Time Zone

Tuesday, March 21, 2017

Assalamualaikum.

How are you? Im doing good alhamdulillah :)

I regularly wrote at another 2 blogs, hence this site is somewhat neglected. hehe. Pardon me :p

Recently, i came across a FB Post about "Time Zone". It is a beautiful writing and i give 100% mark. hihi

The gist that i can share with you as of now is, everyone is living in their own special timezone. Yes, me and you. We are riding our own time-plane ;)

We need not envy what others is having right now, but surely we can put effort to achieve that.

What?? You dont get it? hehe. Okay, i'll try to elaborate as precise as possible.

I'll just give you an example.

Situation 1:

A completed his degree at the age of 22 years old, but have to wait  years for employment.

B completed his degree at the age of 27 years old, but got employed immediately after graduation.

Situation 2:

A got married at the age of 20 and delivered first baby 10 years later.

B got married at the age of 25 and delivered her baby the same year.

it's raining. get in the house quick :p

Yes, sometimes we might get carried away with the surrounding. That's why we need to stand on a firm ground.

The firm ground im talking here relate directly with BIG WHY. When the vision is clear, there's nothing else that can move you. Seriously.

People around might be talking, but you'll face it nonchalantly once you are firm and clear about yourself. A firm faith is also included :)

When you realise that Allah has better plans for you, you'll just follow the flow that Allah is crafting for you. Thats the beauty being a Moslem. You'll always find good sides of whatever befalls, or in other words, 'hikmah'.

And, last but not least, to be POSITIVE. I'm in love with this word so much. hahah.

Till then. Wassalam.

Planning

Sunday, December 11, 2016

Assalamualaikum.

I was thinking to share with you, fellow readers about something related to.. emm, what should i call it? Achievement.. not really.

It's more like an accomplishment. Is it so?

Oh, i think the right word would be,

" all the things that occured to us are in the hands of Allah Almighty. Allah knows what is the best and what is not, for us "

Am about to turn one fourth of century real soon, it makes me reflect more of all the passing years and the incidents.

I wish to share the best i could, and the best soul to digest it is me, myself :)

In sha Allah, i will start writing, soon.

One last thing for today is,

take a moment in each day, to reflect all the blessings from Allah and say 'alhamdulillah' :)

Syair Aminah Qutb buat Calon Suami

Sunday, April 24, 2016

Sekiranya,
kita cinta kepada manusia,
tidak semestinya manusia itu cinta kepada kita.
Tapi sekiranya,
kita cinta kepada ALLAH,
nescaya cinta ALLAH tiada penghujungnya.
Sekiranya,
kita cinta kepada manusia,
kita akan cemburu kepada orang
yang mencintai orang yang kita cintai.
Tapi sekiranya,
kita cinta kepada ALLAH,
kita akan turut mencintai orang
yang melabuhkan cintanya
kepada ALLAH juga.
Ya ALLAH,
andai dia adalah jodoh
yang ditetapkan oleh-MU kepadaku
maka,
campakkkanlah dia ke dalam hatiku,
cinta kepadanya adalah kerana-MU,
dan campakkanlah ke dalam hatinya,
cinta kepadaku adalah kerana-MU.
Namun,
andainya dia bukanlah jodoh yang
ditetapkan oleh-MU,
berikanlah aku kekuatan agar aku pasrah
dalam mengharungi ujian
yang KAU berikan padaku.

Aminah Qutb

In sha Allah.

Antara Yakin dan Percaya

Wednesday, January 27, 2016

Bismillah.

Yakin dan percaya itu berbeza.

PERCAYA

i) Tahu bahawa solat malam adalah sangat digalakkan dan mempunyai banyaaak manfaat dunia akhirat, tapi masih culas :'(

ii) Tahu bahawa amalan bersedekah banyaaak manfaat, tapi masih buat-buat tak tahu :'(

iii) Tahu bahawa mati tu bila-bila masa sahaja, tak kira tua@muda, tapi masih berlagak seolah-olah lambat lagi nak mati :'(

YAKIN

iii) Tahu bahawa mati tu bila-bila masa sahaja, tak kira tua@muda & selalu muhasabah diri soal kematian & tidak terlalu membesarkan dunia. Apabila ingat pasal mati, segala masalah kat dunia terasa tidak bermakna ^_^

Wallahua'lam.
Semoga bermanfaat.

Short Tazkirah (ST) 2.0

Saturday, October 03, 2015
Assalamualaikum.

Dear all, one short tazkirah for today :)

credit to

Allah knows ALL even leaves falling to the ground.
Life is full of trials.

Financial problem.
Family problem.
Health problem.

Sometimes, we may be struck by some problems and keep thinking about the problem over and over again.
We all experienced it.

Put your efforts to solve the problems.
Grab the chance and turn back to Allah.
Hes never far and always listening.

"Easier said than done"

Allah has a reason for putting us in any situations.
It is our duty to search for wisdoms behind everything that occured.
And, dont forget to smile :)

Have you ever heard the story of a man named Robert Davilla?
When I first knew his name, I thought hes a football player ^_^
So, I paid no attention.
Once, when I got to know who he is, I was amazed and still I am.
MashaAllah.

One thing that made me realised after listening to the story of Robert Davilla was His favours is in abundance. Yes, in abundance.
Yet, we failed to see and appreciate.

" So, which of the favours of your Lord you would deny? " (Surah ar Rahman)

May Allah made us firm believers.
May Allah give us strength of imaan to pray Tahajjud prayers.
May Allah forgive our sins.
May Allah guide us to the right path.
May Allah help us in becoming true Muslims deserved for Jannah.

Ameen.

Road to Ramadhan ^_^

Tuesday, June 09, 2015
Bismillah.

Alhamdulillah for the blessings of Iman and Islam.
Alhamdulillah :)

1 Ramadhan 1436H = 18th June 2015.
That's just around the corner.
9 days to go.

Ameen ;)

1. Set your goal for Ramadhan

- Goal: Completed Qur'an recitation once or twice during the Ramadhan @ completed qur'an recitation each week @ every day. Subhanallah.
- Once you set your goal, you must draft a strategy to realize it. If you want to khatam one time in Ramadhan, then you may divide the number of pages you have to read each day.
- When you set up a goal, it will boost your courage to have it realized :) In sha Allah

2. List the output you desired.

Eg: - memorize few surah (specify which surah/short surah or long surah)
       - increase the frequency of sunnah prayers (my naqibah once shared that she aimed            to not leave  any rawatib prayers in Ramadhan and hoped to be consistent in the               coming months)
       - to become a better person (in what way? be specific)
       - to become more generous (how? state it)

3. Welcome the month of Ramadhan with full heart <3

* Ramadhan is not about losing weight, its about losing sins =_=

Ramadhan Kareem.
Allahuakram.

May Allah give us the chance to meet Ramadhan this year.
May Allah help us to benefit the most from Ramadhan. .
May Allah guide us to the right path.
Amin.

Passive Income

Sunday, May 03, 2015
Assalamualaikum w.b.t

- contoh: matluthfi

4. Mengajarkan al quran

- terima kasih kepada guru mengaji al quran saya semasa kecil
- sehingga kini jasanya saya kenang

- bukan sekadar melakukan kebaikan, tapi ajaklah orang lain bersama

Jangan perkecilkan kebaikan sekecil mana pun ia.
Ia mungkin besar disisi Allah.

Buatlah kebaikan sebanyak-banyaknya.
Astaghfirullahalazim.

May Allah forgive our sins.
May Allah made us firm believers.
Amin.

Salam Maulidur Rasul 1436H

Saturday, January 03, 2015
Bismillah.

Lalu, salah seorang sahabat berkata:

" SESUNGGUHNYA AKU AMAT RINDUKAN MEREKA "

Tarbiyyah

Wednesday, December 31, 2014
Bismillah.

Tarbiyyah bertujuan melahirkan jundullah.

Supaya saya terus istiqamah.
Dan supaya kita boleh bertemu di syurga.

When you ever feel that you're doing injustice to yourself,
Turn back to Him.

(Az Zumar:53)

It's never too late to make a U-turn.
You and I both make mistakes.
Smile and keep moving forward.

As long as we have Allah in our sides, nothing else shall prevail.
Astaghfirullah.

May Allah forgive our sins and blessed us with His rahmah.
Amin.

A Big Heart

Monday, November 03, 2014

Assalamualaikum :)

In sha Allah

Lets pray to Allah to have a 'big heart' which is not busied with simple little things coz the life in the dunya is temporary.

A friend of mine has just passed away few days ago and he didnt give any signals to his friends nearby. Even the family didnt have chance to say goodbye. Something happened and he was warded in the ICU for two weeks and passed away peacefully later.

The other story i heard: An engineering student ( brother) who's newly wed passed away due to dengue fever. Allahuakbar.

Its a reminder for us. Death waits for no one. Lets get prepared.

May Allah made us among the people of Jannah.
Amin.

Allah knows BEST ;)
Assalamualaikum.

Today, I got a good piece of advice from my ustaz. He said, " Great people don't cry ".

Masha Allah. I was taken aback with his words. Great people are the one who has good and intimate relationship with his Lord and also with the people around (Hablun minallah wa hablun minannas). Great people only cry when they're in front of their Lord, in the early morning at which time others are asleep and they are prostrating to their Lord and hoping for His pleasure.

Tahajjud prayer is like a poisonous arrow, because you shoot at all your problems, at all your enemies. Isn't it so awesome to tell our problems, difficulties and hardships to the One who creates us, the One who knows everything about us, be it our past or the future? Masha Allah. May Allah give us the strength to pray tahajjud and feel the intimacy of a good relationship with Allah.

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:

If Allah has loved a servant [of His] He calls Gabriel (on whom be peace) and says: I love So-and-so, therefore love him. He (the Prophet peace be upon him) said: So Gabriel loves him. Then he (Gabriel) calls out in heaven, saying: Allah loves So-and-so, therefore love him. And the inhabitants of heaven love him. He (the Prophet peace be upon him) said: Then acceptance is established for him on earth. And if Allah has abhorred a servant [of His], He calls Gabriel and says: I abhor So-and-so, therefore abhor him. So Gabriel abhors him. Then Gabriel calls out to the inhabitants of heaven: Allah abhors So-and-so, therefore abhor him. He (the Prophet peace be upon him) said: So they abhor him, and abhorrence is established for him on earth.

It was related by Muslim (also by al-Bukhari, Malik, and at-Tirmidhi).

May Allah make us among the people of Jannah.
Amin.

Knowledge

Saturday, November 16, 2013
Assalamualaikum.

Guys, have you ever wondered why did you study?
Why did you go to university?
Why did you have to stay for four years(average) in university while you can actually work and earn some money? (idea of opportunity cost in economics)
Have you even wondered so?
:-)

Once, my friend asked me; " How we want to motivate ourselves to be committed and diligent enough in our study? "

The answer is simple; Make sure you know the reason for studying.Else, it is hard for you to focus and excel in your study :)

Let's take a look on what Allah says on this matter :

"Allah will raise those who believed among you and those who were given knowledge by degrees" (al Mujadalah:11)
Knowledge is important not only for the life in this dunya, but also for the akhirah.
Without sufficient knowledge, how are we supposed to do preparation for the akhirah?
Without knowledge, how do we want to survive in this challenging world?
Therefore, we need knowledge for both the dunya and the akhirah :)

Knowledge vs CGPA

Some students claim that the higher the pointer, the more knowledgeable you are.

Is it so?

Yes, it could be true and it could be wrong too.
Sometimes, there are students who are very knowledgeable and have high CGPA .
Sometimes, there are students who are well-known due to his knowledge, but not very good in CGPA.
Because, knowledge is vast and cannot be measured just by looking at the CGPA.
But, that does not mean, high CGPA is not important.
:)

Lastly, let us instil in our mind that we MUST be a knowl
edgeable and awesome Muslim in order to fight the Jahiliyyah in ourselves as well as the jahiliyyah out there.

#O Allah, increase me in knowledge while keeping me humble.Ameen.

say this du'a in our prayer always :)
