I came across this video in You Tube which i don't want to lose sight of. I am yet to watch it, but i must.
It is about the murder of four Russian princesses and the family after being imprisoned in a secluded house away from their people.
There is a fictional book titled The Kitchen Boy in which the author recreated the scene of the final days of the royal family.
I managed to read the book twice, once during first year student and the second was during Masters study. I think i wrote about the book once, i'll try to find the link.
It was an engaging read. I enjoyed it so much both feeling thrilled and scared😢
The author nailed his work, the scene of the murder was illustrated in meticulous details you wouldnt want to remember but you keep imagining it.
How the princesses and the parents were locked up with the promise someone might come to rescue them which they already got prepared for it.
The night they were awaiting for months came when the soldier(or so) asked them to gather in a room at midnight, only to realise that there will be the crime scene.
I was startled to find out that this fictional book was based on a real story, a friend told. She learnt the subject in History. I was more than impressed.
After the first year, i tried to search for the book again but to no avail until recently.
I would buy the book if it is still in print.
