i want someone look at me and say, because of you i dont give up.

At schools, if you are in the examination  year (UPSR, PMR SPM) you will have to attend loads of seminars and motivational talks hahahha; which i enjoyed.

I consider myself a motivated person (hihi), whenever i attend such talks; it will boost me even more. But, there's a thing i noticed. That feeling or booster just dont follow you back home. It stayed in you only until the talk last -_-.

Hence, at 17 years old, i drew a conclusion that the best motivator in the wide world is none other than OURSELVES. We cant actually depend on others to make something really work. It may help along the way, of course but in the end, IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU. And, i hold to this until today, which is true :)

With that, i turned to reading, helped me a huge lot in moulding who i was, am and who i would be. Reading feeds the mind and helped you stay on track and do not lose along the way. A reader isnt the same who doesnt read, a point i always stressed on the students.

HOW I MOTIVATE MYSELF?

1. Inner speech
- i talk with myself a lot about everything. i believe in subconscious mind and trained myself to be positive and coax myself (what a pity girl :p) if unwanted things happen, which is normal in everyday life.

2. Read books
- i just realised that the books i read in my campus days affected how i conduct myself in life. Reading does bring you a long way, so go read something guys. Feed your mind. Reading also makes me think and understand things faster. The more you read, the faster is the pace in reading.

3. Write my goals
- i always look forward to write my goals, especially when new year comes. This year, i went somewhere comfy, ordered hot coffee, brought a book and a planner - and i wrote my goals of the year. This, i do every year consistently.
* alhamdulillah, the first goal i wrote got realised last February :)

Okay, i think three is enough for now :D

* dont misunderstood okay, this doesnt mean you should stop going to motivational talks. i still do, but bear in mind - it is only you who can make it happen.

See you soon assalamualaikum.

Daddy's Girl

One night, ayah sent this at to our family whatsapp group. So thoughtful. My little sister. 💞

She loved to write. She has sooo many notebooks 😑

She used to do this many times, but this is the first for ayah. Ayah said, he's so touched 😇

I asked her, how much the wallet? Rm27. She asked one brother to go and buy one and gave him Rm20. And Nyoh had to top up another rm7 hahah.

She said the money was from her savings after school. Such a sweetie pie 😘

But, she isnt little anymore. At 10 years old, she's taller than me. #howcouldyou

The Wait

Tuesday, March 27, 2018

Assalamualaikum. I have loads of stories to share but as for now, let's read on the most recent story - Siti Aafiyah.

I need not introduce the baby. Last night, i watched few scenes in the video of the majlis aqiqah and tahnik.

Siti Nurhaliza is quoted saying ,

"What makes her (Siti Aafiyah) special is because of the wait. I prayer for her not every day but not a single minute passed without praying to Allah for this nikmat,  having a baby'

When asked for advice, she said,

"I dont give up, never. Instead, i keep positive and tell myself, Siti, Allah will give you at the right time"

Datuk K added,

" I waited longer for a baby girl and after EIGHTEEN years, Allah fulfilled my prayer. When i built this house 18 years ago, i build a room for my girl but it has no occupant until today, Siti Aafiyah "

Masha Allah. Allah's blessing is indeed vast and far beyond our limited knowledge 😊😊

Three at Once

Friday, March 02, 2018

Bismillah. i had been planning to write this some times ago but time is jealous of me @ is it me failing in time management? Ops. Every night after completing my job, returning from night meetings; i will feel really sleepy and at times, fall asleep in front of the laptop.

Three close girls in my life are tying the knot this March and the first to be in line is tomorrow. It is a sad truth that i cant attend tomorrow’s wedding and whenever i couldnt go to some event as important as this, there’s a lump in throat and the guilt that wouldnt let me go and keep chasing. But tonight, i chose to look at the other side of the glass and smile :)

Okayy, i’ll spend this space to devote beautiful writing for them.

I met Ayuni since UIA times and been close since then. She is a such a kind hearted lady, easily touched by others’ difficulties, extra patient (especially with the cranky me) and caring. If you asked help or money from her, she’ll never say no hahha *easily get bullied. Living with her for about 1.5 years proved that she’s a real woman, independent and gentle. Im blessed as her friend (but now she’s getting a bit naughty and like to tease me A LOT :p)

The moment i knew she’s planning to get married, words isnt enough to express how much im content for her, especially when her future husband (tomorrow a husband) is a friend of hers too :) Amin is fortunate and right for choosing my friend in sha Allah. I pray the best for them.

Okayy, this one is extra special huu. We’ve been together in this road since we knew each other or so. She’s a dear friend to me as we called it; Girl Friend Till Jannah (so sweet hihiii). Im beyond happy for her and with her journey. Distance does not separate us and the most recent meet up was last month. We talked non-stop to take advantage for the limited time we had. We quaralled sometimes (#emotions) and im glad we braved through that. We shared few favourites together. Among them are books, english, feelings, motivations and i think we always keep inspiring each other :p One more thing, she’s a master at beautiful quotes or photos hahahha. She’s the one who constantly sending me those which i liked <3

We shared many stories and things together and as good friends, sometimes you need not to voice out your troubles, they have the sixth sense. Im grateful she’s going to marry someone who is the best for her in sha Allah. She’s the first to get married between four of us, the SCL clans. Congratulations mek nanie. We are all happy for you :D

The last in the line is my sweet sister, kaklong. She’s the first to get married in my siblings (suits her as the first daughter) and we are all looking forward for her marriage. We have different personality and that always make a point for us to quarrel, and i would be the one who always cry when we were kids. Nevertheless, she’s a caring big sister and always bought presents for her adik-adik. I recalled the old days when we were kids, ohhh what a memory!

And now, we all are grown up and hardly find time to see each other, so sad :’( I pray that Allah guide my sister and her future husband being a better Muslima and may this marriage will end in paradise. My parents are getting their first son in law and of course, they also hoped the best. In sha Allah. May Allah ease everything. Ameen.

Last of all, this is the March i wont forget. Hugs and kisses from a dear me :)
