I Love School Gombak 2021

Monday, December 28, 2020

Assalamualaikum. Hope everyone is doing fine inshaAllah.

Yesterday, I joined the program of giving out school supplies and donations to those who are less fortunate around Gombak, precisely in Hulu Klang.

I was in Team B, and we had to reach out to 5 houses and one of them wasnt available, so we managed to deliver the donation to four kids.

7.50 am : Departed from home

8.05 am : Arrived in Pusat Tarbiyah dan Dakwah HK

8.30 am : Breakfast with yummy nasi lemak & trip briefing

9.00 am : Started the journey, straight to the first house

11.00 am : Done with all 4 houses

11.30 : Home sweet home. Nap time haha

Enjoy the pics :)

House 1

This house in Kemensah. Orphaned kiddos, single mom with 5 small kids and this one is the eldest. You have to turun bukit  a bit and vehicles cannot reach this house.

House 2

Parents are not at home when we arrived. The mom is a small scale tailor with 5 kids and dad lost his job due to the pandemic.

House 3

Granddad as representative because the family wasnt home. Single mom with two kiddos.

House 4

Shahir and Aina. Very nice, soft spoken and respect the elders. Single mom of 8. Sells aiskrim malaysia for a living.

Since this is the last house, we took some time for pep talks.

Yup, that's all. This is an annual program for Nisa' Gombak and usually I cant join because Im always at hometown when this took place, end of year. This time around, the school holidays are a bit shifted and so i could join alhamdulillah.

Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal.

Buku Diari Abah

#DiariAbah

Rupanya, kad manila tu nak guna minggu depan. Anak cakap nak esok sebab kengkawan semua nak beli malam tu terus.

Guru yang dipersalahkan. Rupa-rupanya berlaku miss communication.

Akhir sekali, Apa pun pekerjaan kita, belajar lah sepanjang masa. Selagi hayat dikandung badan.

Wallahua’lam

Post MCO School Routine

Friday, October 16, 2020

Assalamualaikum.

Im gonna share how is schooling like post MCO, since July.

Teachers are given a weekly schedule/extra duty that they have to follow. I am on duty every Tuesdays.

My days on Tuesdays start like this..

7.15 am - 8.15 am :

Be at school earlier, to take the kids' temperature and patrolling the classes. Repeating the same instructions over and over and over again to the kids haha like put on your mask, dont run around (almost impossible :D), dont go play at the toilet et cetera

There're five of us and we usually rotate, first taking the temperature, others are patrolling.. and we take turns.

Kids will queue to check theirs at the stand machine and I have to write down their reading. They have to pass the small paper to teachers on first period.

So, it will usually end at 8.15 the most, because we have to wait for the late comers.

Then, Quran teachers on the first period has to key in the temperature in the system. Parents will receive notifications if they installed the app.

me standing beside the temp. tool.
excuse the tudung.
tak menjadi pulak.
maklum la pagi-pagi nak cepat :p

3.50 - 5.15 p.m :

Then, before school ends teachers have to do the duty again, calling pupils' names, patrolling and the least favourite .. fogging.

The fogging must be done to all classes using the machine.

This extra duty once became an issue coz there were teachers who were not doing theirs *sigh*

Im not gonna say much but responsibility is responsibility no matter how boring that work is. Huhu. That is saying to me as well :)

But, honestly speaking when Tuesdays come.. it feels like.. alamak esok dah selasa ke hahaha

calling the kids' names

fogging. wait few minutes for it to activate

If there's a thing I love post MCO is we get to go back much earlier, at 4 p.m if we're not on duty.

That's a huge relief knowing that when the bell rings, yeah.. you can go straight home. No mengaji or biyadi class. Although this also means no extra gaji coming in.. emm takpe la haha.

Plus, the kids no longer have the pleasure eating together at the canteen. All meals are single packed and they have to eat in their own classes. Extra works for the canteen workers but no option. During the first month post mco, teachers' meals were also packed but when the covid cases decreased a little an considering the high cost, teachers can eat in buffet as usual.

I think that's all for now. Assalamualaikum :)

Doa Mendapat Jodoh yang Baik

Friday, October 16, 2020

Assalamualaikum everyone.

I dont like to repeat this but still I wanna say sorry for being absent so long. It's 16th of October today and it has been few months since I last pen anything here.

My laptop is kinda having faulty cable and i am always a bit lazy to turn it on if I dont have any clerical works to do. Yeah.

But.. currently we're facing the second PKPB and i promised myself to write more regularly here. #thirddaystayinghome

I found out that my post on Doa Minum Air received many hits every month so im planning to post that kind of thing - simple but meaningful prayer for us to practise and take home.

So, for today - it's this one. A prayer for pious spouses, for the singles.

amiin

The du'a in Arabic sounds like this

" Allahumma sakkhirli zaujan solihan, yakhtibuni wa yatazzawajubi wayakunu sohiban li fiddunya walakhirah "

I always made it a point to understand the arabic meaning coz it will make it easier for me to comprehend and feel the du'a hence the picture.

Reflection on this du'a, it is such a noble, humble prayer asking The Almighty to choose the best for us because He only knows the best. The du'a complements both the dunya and akhirat.

For me, other than the many criteria, if he is someone who puts reading in his bucket list, book shopping, coffee dates... ah, im a lucky one. Yeah, in case you gonna say. Wish for someone who can be the imam, throw the trash, polite, smart, hardworking, wake up at night making susu, change nappies and all - that's why i say clearly before, other than the many criteria haha. Okay? :) #realistic

One more thing is, be nice to people. If you meet someone in thirties and still not married, pray for him or her. Speak nice things because whatever it is, trust in Allah's perfect timing. This is not being cliche at all, but believe in what Allah has in store for each of us. InshaAllah you'll see things in broader perspective and spread the love haha. The best is yet to come :)

Bye for now. Currently, im having The Scorch Trials.

Wassalam.

Is it really July now?

Monday, July 06, 2020
Assalamualaikum everyone :)

Suddenly we are in July - already. Barely we have done many things this year or going places. Above all, alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal.

MCO has a lot to teach us and if we dont take a single lesson from this period - i dont know what else huhu

It was the period where everyone, literally everyone in this whole wide world have to stay at home - going nowhere no matter how rich you are, how important or famous - we are all the same. Suddenly, to save the world; you just have to do one thing - staying home.

It was a tough three months (March to early June) though - especially to those who are directly affected. I kept thinking about people like stall owners (do we call them hawkers?), those who receive payment on daily basis. Allahu

To Allah only we hope and rely on. (i've this one piece of du'a to calm ourselves, to really believe and put trust and hope only only to Him - i'll share later)

I watched documentaries on how airline industry will take longer time to recover - because people are still scared. Even if the air is open now, abroad flight still dont run as usual. I saw an interview and there's this woman said - she has been involved in aviation for four decades and had never experienced anything at this scale - planes are amassed on ground and forced them to find a huge area to put them all. Not only that, planes have to be maintained and always checked to ensure it does not get serious damage due to not flying. Yeah.

Aircraft company like Boeing and Airbus insider saying - they are always on high demand but they couldnt supply enough. They didnt stop producing more and more aircrafts until this pandemic - everything sits still.

I watched our local airline, Air Asia and Tony Fernandes saying - they have been through all seasons - thick and thin ; tsunami, economic crisis, sars but this pandemic is something else.

That's only about an industry.

Let's see our holy and sacred place, the focus of all Muslims, receiving millions of pilgrims during hajj season and out of blue (on Allah's will) - it turns out empty. It was a really rare sight - seeing Masjidil Haram vacant. Allahuakbar. I shared my sympathy with a colleague who should be going for hajj this year. She said Allah plans the best :)

PM was quoted saying - we cant close the economy forever; hence the start of opening one by one industry but with strict regulation.

Moving to the kids. Me being a primary school teacher, a private one with a limited space. Im trying to imagine how well the kids will adapt to this new norm. Kids being kids - they run, play, touch here and there, run again, insensitive to their own hygiene, eat together with friends, play and run some more haha

Teachers will become the new frontliners. It wont be easy with the kids, but somehow we'll manage. Pray for the best.

Wallahua'lam

Resipi Brownies Cookies Meletop!

Wednesday, June 24, 2020

Assalamualaikum. Seperti yang dijanjikan.

Dalam semua biskut yang anis buat, this is the best! and my favourite. Tak berhenti makan. Sebab dahlah rupanya cantik - kedutan menjadi, rasa pun sedap.

Just nice.

Yup, i like!

Cara-cara:

1. 350g dark choc + 100 g butter (double boil)

2. Putar 3 biji telur + 200g gula aising sampai sebati

3. Dah siap double boil, masukkan dalam campuran nombor 2. Putar lagi.

4. Masukkan 1 1/2 sudu besar serbuk koko + 100g tepung gandum. Sambung putar.

Best sangat. Selamat mencuba! :D

Hello June & meet Public Gold hihi

Tuesday, June 23, 2020

Assalamualaikum. Alhamdulillah. Hello everyone. I'll be posting recipe for Chicken Wrap and Superb Brownies Cookies, MCO in a nutshell, online learning soon. Stay tuned. You dont want to miss them :)

Just stop here to pen something on my new journey -- Public Gold.

It's been fun one turning a year actively sharing and educating people on the importance of buying and saving gold.

There was this one video from the financial guru - Robert Kiyosaki on gold and his four-minutes video nailed it all! on why we all should save some gold. Ops, saving gold here doesnt refer to jewelleries okay.

Saving gold means buy the gold bars or dinar. Yup! Jewelleries are more for perhiasan and not for savings. One reason is its margins spread is quite high.

I am glad when i am able to transfer this message to people out there that gold is real money. Buy gold today. Ask me how. I'll be glad to help.

Oh ya, i have just finished editing my small ebook haha about my journey with Public Gold. If you too wanted to know @ you wanna me give more insights ;

Please reach me through Whatsapp +601129440532.

See you soon. Please pray for me to be more hardworking hihi

One tips for today; always recite Surah al Mulk before sleeeping. You may add Surah Al Waqi'ah and Surah as Sajadah too.

Wassalam.
