Assalamualaikum. Tonight, just wanna share a movie review based on a true story. I watch this movie years back during my study on the recommendation from a motivator.

It all started when King George V asked his second son, Prince Albert, Duke of York to deliver a speech at Wembley Stadium in year 1925. The crowd was huge but the speech turned out terribly since Prince Albert stammered poorly.
Since then, he has been working extra hard to fix his stammer with an Australian Speech Therapist, Lionel Logue.
Prince Albert or called Bertie among his family members have two daughters, Elizabeth (the current Queen Elizabeth II) and Margaret. He was fortunate to have the company of a very supportive wife who was actually the person who introduced him to Lionel Logue.
As the second son, he is the second in line to throne after his brother, David. Nonetheless, after the passing of King George V, his brother David only assumed the position as a King for a short period before signing off. Then, Prince Albert was crowned as King George VI and his wife as Queen Elizabeth.
Assuming the post of a King, he has to deliver lots of speech to his people especially during the war period. He made Logue a commander of Royal Victorian Order in 1944. Logue was with the king for every wartime speech. Logeu and Bertie remain friends for the rest of their lives.

Usually, if the movie is based on a true story, its duration wont go beyond two hours. This is just a short movie but very entertaining. I'd love to watch more movies adapted from real life. Sick of those lovey dovey stories that are not beneficial at all (i hate all of them)
Salute to the actor Colin Firth because he stammered perfectly hehe (just to make it real).
