Haha got the idea from the videos i've been watching so i thought i wanna made mine!
1. iPhone
Yeah, everybody needs their smart phone. I recently changed my phone after five years of using iPhone 6 because it's not working well and it's time to purchase a new one. And im far from following the trend, i bought what i need.
2. Laptop
I am always more comfortable doing major works on laptop - with a mouse and not on mobile phone or iPad. Mine was 10 years old, ACER brand and has been through thick and thin with me. Throughout my degree, postgraduate and working life. Thank you!
3. Watch
I have never bought watches because i use the ones gifted by dad. Currently, i have three watches and the earliest one i got when i was accepted to uia - and unfortunately, it kinda stopped working last year - changed the battery but in about two months or so, i have to change again - guessed the software is obsolete but considering it is almost 10 years of usage, it is fine then.
The last one i got from dad was last year when i was kinda telling him - beli lah jam satu haha. And dad mistakenly bought similar to the previous one, only difference in colour inside, but never mind.
Only the middle one is working presently.
4. Diffuser
Started using this Young Living owl diffuser in 2021, or was it 2020? Not sure. But the investment is worth every ringgit. Promise you! The plus point of this owl diffuser is it has white noise. I mean, i loved it. The essential oils that i use is only a few. No wide selection, because i only buy what i can afford haha
5. iPad
Thanks to my brother, he lent me this iPad (although i assumed it's mine now haha). Used the iPad to read ebooks and watch movies or episodes whilst eating and sometimes Safari browsing.
I've a stupid story about iPad. I was actually looking for iPads to buy like forever haha and many years back, i got scammed by Kevin. He sold it for RM200 (cant remember the model, but old model and refurbished one) and to be on the safe side, i asked him loads of questions bcoz it's super cheap and he answered them all and also i asked if this is a scam. At that time i really wanted one, and asked the opinion of my brothers about this seller, whether he's a scammer or not. I remember them saying, if he's a scammer, he's a real patient one (and mind you, they are, until they get the money). I went to the extend to ask him for his photos, just to be sure. Idiot haha.
Yeah, that's a scam and that thing never arrived. I was lucky it was RM 200 and not thousands (lesson learnt hard way). Remember, if it is too good to be true, the conclusion is IT IS NOT TRUE. Better run!
6. Physical books
This goes without saying. I must have a book or two everytime i go out and when it comes to traveling, i would take some time to choose over books i will bring along - usually at least three books. They just provide a sense of .. dont know how to describe it, just really loved the whole idea of books and reading. A sense of home i guess, like Andrew Garfield termed it (i recently knew that he's a Spiderman and i dont mind a bit, but i watched him saying his love for books, always carrying few of them with him while traveling - ahh same same here <3)
Highlighter and pen is a must as well when reading physical books.
7. Headphone
I have two, one to connect with the laptop and this one is a bluetooth to connect with the phone. I despise the AirPods or that kind because it could be a choking hazard for kids. Unsafe. Better use the non wireless earphone, for me.
The down side of this headphone is it needs charging.
8. Perfumes
or anything that smells good. I usually stick to the similar scent from the same brand most of time.
9. Minyak angin
This is a must in my bag and im using a few kinds.
9. Notebooks
I need to have them and lots of them haha. I use different notebooks for different matters. Public Gold, work, journals, to do list, class notes, daily gratitude notes, monthly finances and commitments etc
And i have specific type that i like, how the linings inside goes, the space for writings haha. When i walked into bookshops and lurking around stationary aisle, i told myself.. pls no more notebooks, dont get lured haha coz you have a lot at home..but still. The most recent one was yesterday, a small one from Kiosk Mahallah Hafsah, bought it bcoz it's RM1 :D
10. Qur'an
Last but not least, the one thing that is a must is the Qur'an. I used to bring it from campus and back home but not anymore because found it easier to not bring it whilst on the bus. No suitable place to put.
This one has been with me since my matriculation years, since 2010. What a time. I have to wrap it because the cover needed fixing and torn. I have few other mushaf but this one is the one i regularly use for recitation.
To me, i still go back to the physical mushaf everytime although you can always find it in the apps but the feeling of holding it is better, unless there's no choice.
When you think that oh, i dont have time to read the Qur'an, you can recite the surah you have memorized too.
Is it the world that's busy or is it my mind ~
Yup, that's a wrap :)
