Lesson learnt

Assalamualaikum.
Last night, this kakak asked me about raya haji holiday.
I said, yeahh. We'll have a long holiday again 😅
Then, i said this and that.

Unconscious, i said something i shouldnt 👻👻

Many friends getting married this raya season.

And, you know casually she'll later asked you things on that as someone would if you're yet to get married when you long reach the age 😂😂

She asked if I already have someone 😅😅

Thanks kakak for that 😬

Embarassed i was. I learnt not to bring out the topic again 😑

Office Politics

Monday, July 24, 2017

Assalamualaikum.

I've worked in few offices, hence exposed to a term i'd come across, "office politics".

If you're a newbie 😝, this simply means politics not only surround the politician, or in a big view like a government. A small office in the far away city also has its politics 😎

An employee may not like the way the boss works. An employee might not be satisfied with the other colleagues he/she is working with.
An employee might be backbiting each other in their absence.
An employee might be 'talam dua muka', portaying only good things and sweet words in front of the boss, whilst saying the worst thing at the back.

Hmm.
It seems endless.

You, being a new person in the office, do not ever follow suit. Pick your ground and stick with it though that could mean you'll be unpopular or sometimes called a nerd 🤗

I despise it whenever i met a new person and came another person telling me 'not nice things' of him/her. It is just dissappointing. 😑

~Dont confuse my personality and my attitude . My personality is me being myself, but my attitude depends on you ~

Wassalam. See you soon 😇

Anniversary

Sunday, July 23, 2017
Assalamualaikum. Hai everyone 😇

July marked one year anniversary living in this rented house. It has been a year 😅

I recalled how reluctant i was to move back then, having to say good bye to my private space at mahallah 😂

A year living with friends and im glad i made it. 💪
Alhamdulillah. I learnt a good many things here. I was afraid I might not adapt (although all tenants are actually my uni friends😅).

When i first moved, i told myself few crucial things.

1. Have a big heart @ berlapang dada
- this one is important, since you gonna live with people who are different from you, came from different background and not everybody will understand you
- habits and life routines differ too and the varieties is what made a good life 😇
- it's a bliss Allah created us this and that way, we learn the beauty of appreciation

2. Give more, Expect less
- dont expect too much from anybody
- at times, you'll feel unsatisfied or angry at petty things but just hold it inside and do lots of istighfar
- if you let the anger out, believe me things wont turn out the same as before
- later, you'll learn the beauty of patience (though im not really the one)

3. Always pray to Allah to give you a good surrounding, good friends and good life
- friends are like a mirror. This i always stressed on students. The importance of making good friends.

But, this isnt gonna last long. Many of us are moving to a new phase in life soon. I pray the best for them though i'll be left behind 😩

Thanks for being there 😘

Wallahua'lam.

The first phone call from heaven

Friday, June 30, 2017

Assalamualaikum. Salam 6th Syawal :)

This time around, i grab hold of the piece from the author who spent four years atop New York Times list with his other book, Tuesdays with Morries.

I blog about this book once and having reading it again, i found many priceless values worth sharing.

1. The author asked about manna. Does it sound familiar to you? Yes, it is the manna wassalwa that we recite in Quran. He mentioned manna is food from heaven.

2. The end is not the end. This phrase is repeated over and over again in the book. It simply arouse the readers' curiousity in telling that death is a fullstop to one's live. It could be a new beginning to another live. And there is life after this life.

3. That knowing heaven is what heals us on earth. How consoling the words are and left us serene. As Muslims, these are the truth to us. The promise of heaven and hell lead us to many good deeds. Any injustices we prayed to be dealt justly in the Day of Judgement.

His choice of words causing you leafing the pages over and over again. I read three of his book so far, and i rated him 💎💎💎💎

So, how much duit raya you collect?
Mine was below Rm50 😂😂

Till then. Wassalam.

Ramadhan in Gombak

Tuesday, June 20, 2017

Assalamualaikum. It's 25th Ramadhan today. I pray you are in the best health and spirit to pursue the remaining days in the blessed month. 😊

Im feeling grateful tonight since the mosque i went to had Syeikh Nuruddin as the speaker in between Isyak and Tarawih. Not only that, mosque held 8 rakaah + witir  tonight (usual one is 20+3) to give way for the Syeikh to continue his ceramah and im a glad girl😄

Sheikh spoke in understandable Indonesian slang and too fast you have to really put your ears on active mode. The occasion ended at about 1120 pm. Alhamdulillah.

This ramadhan i spent half time at home in kelantan and the other half in gombak, my second home 😂😂

I was unproductive at home since im a stay-at-home girl. Hehe. Mom and dad provide everything that i havent the incentive to go out anywhere. 😅😅

It is somehow different here where i have to work for some bread and butter 😂
My weekends are well spent. Last week, we had an event to distribute some contributions to the selected people in gombak. I'll write a post later on that.

May we make the most out of the remaining days. May Allah forgive our sins. Ameen.
