Hujan

Monday, September 18, 2017
Hari ni hujan. Tak berhenti dari tengah hari. Masih hujan lagi ni.

Doa waktu hujan,
" Allahumma soyyiban nafi'a "

Siapa suka hujan?
Ya Allah, kalau hujan waktu Subuh@pagi-pagi, mesti rasa sayu sendu sikit. Sebab teringat bau-bauan hujan waktu sekolah, naik bas @ van sekolah berebut-rebut, belajar dalam kelas pun nyaman je sebab sejuk hehehe

Bila dah besar ni, kalau hujan, cepat je terlintas kenangan-kenangan masa belajar manis dan tak manis. Hehe.

Dulu, masa belajar, anis suka sangat baca buku teks. Biasanya anis baca buku teks ni waktu malam. Waktu hujan pun best jugak, sambil-sambil minum air savanah @ radix. Allah.. Rindunya. Buku cerita pun baca jugak. Masa tu bawak balik buku Conan Doyle - Sherlock Holmes, tercicir atas bas balik kampung.

Alamak, tiba-tiba pulak cerita pasal buku. Maafin.

Puisi Buat Orang Merindu

Thursday, September 14, 2017

Orang-orang yang merindu, namun tetap menjaga kehormatan perasaannya, takut sekali berbuat dosa, memilih senyap, terus memperbaiki diri hingga waktu memberikan khabar baik.

Melaka School Trip

Wednesday, September 13, 2017

So, i was selected to accompany Year 4 students for their annual trip. Destination; Malacca. Actually,  this is my fourth time and i was not really keen to go hehe. Astaghfirullah.

We departed from school at 8a.m, stopped for toilet 15 minutes and arrived at our first stop, Kilang Koko Minda, Merlimau at 11.15a.m. They showed the production line, packaging and entertained us with slide shows and cocoa drinks 😋

We proceed to Masjid Selat Melaka for Jamak Takdim Zohor and Asar and had a delayed lunch there. The caterer's suddenly got a heart attack and the boss called for Uber and took some time. We sat under trees shade and crows everywhere. While eating, a female student got shocked, a crow just landed its waste on her hand and food. What a drama. Its lucky we have extra food.

10 minutes before 3 p.m, we moved to the next stop at Rumah Terbalik. I was a bit 'bersungguh' to see the upside down house. And, here they are! Check the photos of my students. We're only allowed 30 minutes inside. The place is like a house, all being upside down. I was startled when we first entered, the staff told, " Okay, this is how you should take the photos.. Alright, you may start now 😅".

did it look real to you??

wow. the trishaw parked good there :D

Next, Menara Taming Sari. I decided not to follow them into the 'spinning wheel', because i already had once. But, the other teachers said, all free (already paid) so i went. I tell you, once is enough. It was boring but it's worth the ticket price if you go for the first time. We were separated into two groups, girls team went first.

Menara Taming Sari done. It was 5p.m. Then, we walked to A Famosa City, took some photos, bought souvenirs and left. Oh, two students in another group(we walked in groups led by a teacher) went missing and the teacher in charge was furious 😱 At last, there they were!

Last, we went to a market nearby A Famosa to buy additional souvenirs 😅 I just bought a shirt for kid and some kerepek.

At about 630 p.m, we boarded the bus again heading back home. All were exhausted and..hungry. Teachers distributed bread and mineral water for students before we stop at R&R for dinner and solat.

We prayed and had dinner at R&R Seremban at 8.30pm and was there for an hour before we proceed home. We arrived at Al Huda's school compound at 11 p.m alhamdulillah 😊

LGBT

Tuesday, September 12, 2017

Today, I have a one day workshop on LGBT.  Two speakers were invited, one teaching on the subject at uni and the other one is in the field himself.

L - Lesbian
G - Gay
B - Bisexual
T - Transgender

I rarely took part in knowing more about this group before, only get the surface information on who are they like.

And, surviving a day workshop on this, my eyes opened big and wide realising the ugly and heartbreaking truth in our community.

Theres a lot more to be done and many more dakwah methods to be explored. Among the things that i can share;

- We have to treat the root cause of them being LGBT
- One people having this issue cannot be generalised, because their reasons differed and has to be handled gently and in-person
- Identifying the patterns at a young age
- Avoid judging instead give support and help

This is not a branch issue, it is a big one 😞

Few of the reasons i could mention;
- Rooted from family problem, less affection
- Friends' influence
- Financial problem
- Sexual abuse

I benefited a lot from today's discussion and realised many more jobs awaiting the dua't.

May Allah helps us.

15 hours trip is no joke

Tuesday, September 05, 2017

I left home at 1.30 p.m in the rain, arrived about 10 minutes later and immediately prayed Jama' Takdim Zuhur and 'Asr at surau.

It was third day of Eidul Adha.  My bus departed at 2 p.m from Kota Bharu. It was unusual for me and first time boarding a 2 p.m bus.

The traffic was really slow and sometimes static. The driver said that we might reach destination at Fajr. I dont believe him, at first. It took us about 5 hours to reach Kuala Krai (normal is 2 hours) and another 5 crazy hours to reach Gua Musang (KB-GM normal time is 3hrs max). So, total hours from KB-GM is 10 hrs, 2pm-12a.m.

It was a long , tiring journey. Days before, i thought to myself , look i'll be the earliest to arrive at the house, i should ask for a friend to come and stay with me at night. (Since i took 2p.m bus). Scared. I was sure that i'll arrive according to the schedule. I even told mom if i arrived early, i might just slept at TBS since got no one at home yet and she snapped me saying things like i better sleep at the house. I also planned for activities on Monday  (public holiday) + where to eat lunch 😂

At 3.40 pm, the bus stopped at Petron and i went to Treats to buy mineral water. It was a long queue and guess what.. The bus left without me! 😨
But luckily enough it stopped when maybe another passenger spotted me walking nervously towards the bus. Thank you 🤕

At 5.30 pm, we stopped for 'Asr prayer at a small surau by the roadside. Many cars also stopped for prayer and some fresh air.

Later on, the co-driver switched on the television and i was like.. "Why i didnt see there's a tv right in front of me?" 😑 Pirates of Carribean lasted for more than 2 hours before many of us dozed off for the sixteenth time 😅

I seated in the most front seat (behind the driver) with a cute pregnant sister beside. Relieved because most of the passengers were of opposite sex. All seats next to me (behind, to the left) were males and i was uncomfortable i couldnt sleep all evening. Its good that i brought a mini old story book, The Secrets of The Crow Mountain. Criteria for book-to-read-on-the-bus must be light and enjoyable. Thats it.

When its getting darker and seemed like everybody else was asleep, i slowly closed my eyes and tried to have a good sleep. It was only 10 p.m but there's no chit chatting sound since we departed 8 hours before 😅

Another good reason i must close the eyes; couldnt stand watching the driver drove that fast and furious, i better sleep and do not see.

To be continued.
