Assalamualaikum. 

Untuk AGM kali ni, our venue after lots of comparisons and all - Laman Harmonis Wedding Hall, located in Tmn Harmonis Batu 6 Gombak. Deposit RM 2,000 paid and first site visit done during Ramadhan which I didn't go (was at home in kelate). I've been there last year for another program too so at least I've got the view in general.

Okay, upon arriving here, went for second site visit to see the place and confirm things with the owner En Hisham. And third visit a week later. 

The AGM was on 4th May, Sunday. The rehearsal was conducted the night before, starting from 7 to 11 pm. Went there early, solat Maghrib kat sana whilst waiting for our food. Dinner was nasi goreng kampung + sambal belacan + teh tarik. Rehearsal went well, only that banner besar on the stage belum pasang sebab frame yang should be there staf dewan belum letak jadi diorang akan pasang siap early morning. Sampai rumah around 11.30 pm, solat Isyak and iron baju uniform siap-siap. 

Pukul 7am gerak dari rumah, only a 5 minute drive to the hall and alhamdulillah dah quite a few AJK yang sampai. Breakfast pun dah ready (bihun goreng + 2 kuih + kopi o + teh tarik). Food was okay. Dewan gave us two dome VIP FOC which was a shock to me sebab venue last year we paid RM100/dome. Banyak benda sebenarnya yang we requested and they gave us FOC too. Thanks a lot. 

During the event planning, we overlooked one thing - earlier on decided not to have the backdrop banner, tapi last minute decide untuk have that banner and kena cepat to complete the design and proceed ke kedai sebab we've got Labor Day on Thursday - kedai tutup. We were scrambling, messaging here and there to finalize things and alhamdulillah managed to have it. Credit to K Sarah & K Kemal. 

Perasmi AGM ADUN Bota, Perak - YB Dr. Najihatussalehah. Perasmian ada pelancaran jentera pilihanraya & pengenalan kepada Tasti Ar Raihan. Selepas perasmian, break kejap untuk minum pagi and we resumed for the meeting at 11.15 am and ended around 1.30pm. Pengundian AJK untuk sesi baru 2025/2027 berjalan serentak semasa AGM. Had buffet lunch for all, food was okay - menu nasi putih + ayam berempah + sayur + buah + fruit punch + tembikai. Not my choice tho sebab saya nak nasi beriani haha 

Habis event, kena kemas dulu items yang dah bawa dari ofis. Sampai rumah around 3.30pm. Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal. 

Cost per pax adalah RM45. The hall, management, parking, facilities in overall - berurusan mudah. Next time, we can include this hall for future events.

Assalamualaikum all. 

Semester concluded in early February, and I have not been home for a while and my one and only niece will be starting school in few days - so after settling everything i should have here in Gombak, purchased my one way ticket GWD-KBR. 

It was a fortnight before Ramadhan and I was doing some maths in my head, calculating whether or not i should head back to Gombak or stay at home? 1st Ramadhan arrived and in the first week I decided that I'll stay. My tuition all had been completed since the SPM exam already over. One thing for sure is I would be unemployed for a while haha

The last time I had Ramadhan with my family was during Covid 19 and before covid, it was very rare to be at home for the whole Ramadhan. Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal. 

The routine is actually about the same every single day. For sahur, biasanya ayah will tanak nasi, panaskan apa yang patut, buat air & lepas tu baru lah kami the girls including mom woke up haha. Kemudian, he will say - sedak lah demo, siap belako baru bangun hahah. Tima kasih ayoh! On school days, fetch my sister from school around 2 pm & cuaca masa bulan puasa sangatlah panas ya. Petang lepas asar, pergi beli kuih di Kebakat atau tempat2 yang terdekat. Some days mom ikut, some days she didnt. Menu wajib yang ada onde-onde dan nasi manis & air nyior for dad. My drink pulak would be coffee day in day out haha

Ayah will always make sure yang minyak kete always refuelled for me to drive and suruh my brother untuk pergi isikan minyak every time and at times I will do it myself haha sebab kesiankan nyoh sokmo kena g isi minyak ko pudik hihi

Iftar will consist of me, mok ayah and my sister (sometimes with nyoh n pulong). First day puasa mok buat puding karamel, so sedappp! We used to makan mi goreng @ kue teow - maksudnya tak makan nasi terus masa buka puasa tapi sebab dah kurang ahli, makan jah nasi terus, easier for mom nak memasak. Yes, mom cooks not me huhu. Lepas tu terawih for the first time ever, i went to surau sekolah. Reason - sebab my mom pergi situ with cikyah misi. Ayah pun tarawih situ jugak. Usually, me and mom went to balasoh tapi kena lintas jalan besar ada traffic light. 

My dad will always every single night without fail keluarkan/turunkan sesiap moto untuk saya bawak g surau (we went separately sebabnya saya siap lambat haha). Terima kasih! And dekat surau, most of the time lepas habis witir i will dashed out quickly - scared of meeting ppl i know from school haha (me being introvert).

One night, lepas balik terawih - i had some bad headache dari siang. Ayah knocked on my room door and tanya, Dik, nak minyak cap kapak ko? Kalu nak ayah nak g beli lalu ni dea kedai tutup. I was like, takpo ayoh, ada doh minyak nih. Walaupun anaknya nih dah besar panjang, huhu. Kasih ibu membawa ke syurga, kasih ayah selama-lamanya... 

Some days, mom ajak pergi pasar - cari ikan and kain telekung (dont know the number of telekung she had, various colors, patterns) tapi tetaplah beli kain semayang baru haha. 

Oh, and this year kuih raya yang saya buat cuma lah popia sambal dan juga biskut florentine cookies. 

Begitulah. Thank you Allah. Semoga ada rezeki kita semua bertemu dengan Ramadhan akan datang.

Actually I did not intend to participate in this year's SUKPA for some reasons. Turned out i still did. Poor me haha

SUKPA Kawasan Gombak organised by dun sebab jumlah pelajar yang agak ramai dan memudahkan dari segi pengurusan and all i think.

acara kategori 4 tahun

Rutin dia sama sahaja. Gen 3 akan handle Kategori 4 tahun (K4T). Acara dia setiap tahun ada 4 jenis dan separate L dan P. Jadi jumlah 8 kali permainan. 

Selepas selesai semua acara baru lah akan diadakan penyampaian pingat kepada pemenang. Sebelum tu ada acara cari gula-gula tapi disebabkan ada PASTI yang tak bawa menyebabkan acara tambahan ni dibatalkan untuk keadilan semua pihak :D (actually this part agak heated debate jugak haha sebab nya ada PASTI yang bawak gula-gula banyak, ada yang bawak sikit, ada yang tak bawak jadi take time untuk decide nak teruskan atau tak). Walaupun hanya untuk have fun, tapi kena adil la jugak dan supaya everybody satisfied. Hope so. 

Then, ambik nasik lunch (sedap lauk dia!) and balik. Sifat volunteer ni begitulah, takde elaun wang etc tapi makanan always ada :)

Hi all. 

This is a memoir from our 4th Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. Total pages - 892 and took me over a month to complete it and determined to do so before new semester starts because i learnt a lot in the process. But of course read, pause, grab another book, continue, read, pause and repeat haha. When I first grabbed it, I did not expect the memoir to be so much like a history book. I was amazed. (side story: i went to my student's house & i saw the book on the shelf and teringat, wait i have not read this and i still remember the book was pricey over rm100 i think - balik rumah terus cari yang ebook, lepas tu bila dah best baca cari yang buku fizikal pulak nak beli haih macam2 :p)

The memoir was published over a decade ago, in year 2012. There are altogether 62 chapters. I enjoyed the book and looked for the physical version in the second hand bookstores. I even thought of printing some chapters that i wanted to relate to the class because some of it are so relatable and would be a beneficial addition. 

As an avid reader, i always know whether or not the book is a repeat or not. For this one, a very thick memoir - the way i would repeat it is by picking the chapters that i wanna know about because the amount of history and information there are worth it. Because it is quite lengthy, the moment you finished the book you already forgot what was said in the earlier chapters but still as i said, i learnt a lot haha 

Here are some things that i wanna mention; 

- Tun M lived his teenage years through war, British and Japanese occupation

- He was a doctor in practice and even had a clinic on his own. When he lose the second general election he competed in, he returned to the clinic as a doctor which he first sold to his partner when he won in the previous election 

- All three previous prime ministers were lawyers trained in London, but he was a medical doctor from a Singaporean college where he met Tun Dr. Hasmah, one of few Malay female doctors at that time 

- Hmm apa lagi eh.. 

- It has to be noted that he criticized PAS a lot haha in his writing but Tun M now already made peace with TGHH

- Tun M contributed hugely to the development of Malaysia like having our first national car, paving way to create Putrajaya, PETRONAS, Malaysia Airlines, KLCC twin towers a lot more i cant recall now 

- He was the prime minister during the 1998 currency crisis, ops lalang, arrest of our current pm :o, reformation etc

- Tun M said on Anwar which was once his deputy - "Anwar was a skilled politician and a persuasive demagogue - always convincing, he also knew how to endear himself to people". Okei saya ulang! (if you know you know)

Never overstay your welcome - his mom said and i recalled one phrase in the paper when he stepped down - berhenti makan sebelum kenyang and he also said that was one of his health tips

I just watched this movie for the second time and it took many many days haha because i keep pausing it and have no rush to finish considering i already watched it once. Sometimes I just liked to repeat movies that i deemed good and this is one of them mainly because it is a true story.

snapshot from wiki Yup i enjoyed the movie.  My current reading is the Tun M's memoir and one mental health related book from Matt Haig.  Last night, I did some Turkish reading and answer some questions from the material i printed out before.  The current weather is rainy and some parts in other states are having flood and I pray the safety and goodness for everyone involved.  Few days back, Israel bombed some parts of Lebanon and also put explosives in the pagers and walkie talkie of people there which led to the death of 500+ innocent civilians. Crazy insane bloody Israel.  That's all for now. Dont forget to recite Quran and selawat.  Bye.
