Assalamualaikum. 

Tomorrow will be the first day of the second month in this new year and i was really, absolutely late to the party.. i mean to write something here which i should have done much earlier considering there are 31 days in January. Putting that aside, here i am.. at last. 

I will try my best to ensure i do write here coz you know sometimes you simply get carried away with everything around and not making time to visit here and journal em will hurt me when time passed. 

So yeah i go all the way to create a simple card just to start the year. 

School started off a week later than the supposed date due to flood so i was at home a week longer. 

When i came back to Gombak, all tasks are lined up and waiting to be completed or touched. Hence, ive got enough on my plates that turning on this blogging thing is ... i chose sleep haha. 

My schedule has been all over and if i was free that night, i just did my reading.

I promised myself that i will upload the holiday photos with family here any time sooner but i havent. 

There's a thing that is haunting me all way down, every single day and not a day passed without me thinking it - BKS account statement which i gotta do for three straight years (2019-2021) -___-

I think that's all for now my current update and that not even talking about life goals for the new year hahah

Oh, i failed to write second post in August and now it is already at the end of September. (December now) 

Today is the first day of school after a week of holiday and gonna be a long streak with no public hols till November, if im right. 

Been writing more at the other site, cause i talk books (hatihatisite.wordpress)

Here, i'll posted some questions on books and will answer them.

1. What is your favourite book? 

I think this is rather hard to answer coz for someone who enjoys various genres, you've a wide range to choose from. But, still i will name some. The favourite books are simply those which i could read repeatedly. The Alchemist, The Kite Runner, The Kitchen Boy, Pride and Prejudice, Little Women and Wuthering Heights. 

2. Do you read series and which one you liked most? 

I do read series. Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, Cormoran Strike, Shopaholic, Maze Runner and Hercules Poirot.  I enjoyed 'em all but the most recent i found out was the CB series. Currently reading the third of the series. 

3. Do you pick author or the book first? 

Authors first, book second. I shop by authors because you are familiar to the writings and what not. But, this pandemic i got to know more authors and indulge in classics. 

4. Where do you shop? 

Popular Bookstore, Kinokuniya, BookXcess @ BBW Books and BooksnBobs (quality second hand books). For malay books, mostly bought from the agents. I read here for free (www.pdfdrive.com).

5. What is your reading goal in 2021? 

Read more biographies. Minimum of 10. (but in December i realised 10 is a HUGE DEAL, its a lot haha!)

I was browsing the gallery, looking for the photos of #Banjir2014 and i found some treasured photos and i wanna upload some here. 

These are hard to come by.

Blurry one but this is the name of our batch - HEROES 0509. Despite me joining only for the last two years.

I was new at the school when i was appointed as the BKK. I  was clueless but strived till the end. The practice that time  - Form 4 students has to take over as BKK mid year - like in June for the Form 5 to focus on the exam (SPM). Kinda. 

Reminiscing secondary school  was such a fun thing haha coz i was a real nerd. I care nothing except for my exam especially when i scored badly. I dont even go for internet surfing, watch TV (could count by hand) and study hard (not smart). 

I failed my Biology Trial Exam (SBP version), 38% and how i cried in the shower thinking why i didnt do better and why i was so awful in that subject. My surrounding friends were like .. go.. beg for another 2% from Cikgu Zanisah and i was like.. nope, it's okay.. i shall do better next time. But it costs me a class downgrade ;) 

I have to shamefully move to another class (from the two top classess and students; 5 Aisyah + 5 Balqis) just less than two months away from the real exam. I tell you, it's unhealthy for teachers to do that.  I was lucky though, able to compose myself then, even if it's not 100% and came back stronger :p

Fast forward a decade, here i am. Thank you Allah maybe doesnt suffice, still Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal.

Hey there, it's the December school holiday - we got three weeks break. 

Last weekend, right after school ended i went for a trip to Port Dickson with two sister. Thanks for inviting me ~

So, im gonna catalogue the photos and places here. 

10th December 2021

10.00 pm : Leave from Gombak and arrived at Lea Guest House & Cafe, OYO around 11.30pm. The reception closed at 11pm actually, but could hold until 12am. 

Had some supper and slept. The room was with two beds, quite small but no problem coz we were just staying for a night. 

11th December 2021

8.30 am 

Breakfast at Nasi Kukus Abg Farouk, 20 minutes from the hotel. I ate nasi lemak sotong + nescafe ais. The food was spicy, it is like a warung - just nearby the roadside and since Port Dickson is Bandar Tentera Darat, you can see them everywhere. What a sight, them in the green uniform. 

10.00-11.30 am 

Pantai Cahaya Negeri, the first beach we visited. We took lots of photos here. People were streaming in and though it was early in the morning. It rained for a while until 9-ish but the weather cleared and we got to see the beach. 

Photos done, returned to hotel to check out. 

12-2pm 

Strolling / sitting around the benches at Pantai Tanjung Gemok, which is beside the hotel we gonna stay that day, Glory Beach Resort. I brought my iPad so i had the time to settle some school stuffs while relishing the wind, environment at the beach side. 

3pm 

Check in at 2-bedroom apartment Block F, Glory Beach Resort. There are three blocks for 2-bedroom apt; A, B and F. Only the 3-bedroom apartments are direcly facing the beach, as what the staff said. I tried to appeal haha for another block with a little beach view, but not allowed. The hotel was full house, ppl everywhere. 

Note : Pls queue at the reception much earlier than the check in time to avoid q-ing for long. I was lucky that i q-ed early, hence by 3.10 we already got the key. 

I got a monthly usrah actually at 3pm and i was the one presenting this time, so i was rushing to check in and tuned to the Google Meet. When we agreed for the date, this trip hadnt surfaced so i could not possibly cancel and attend as usual. 

Prayed Jamak Ta'khir and i thought to myself, it's been so long since i travelled. 

5.30 pm

Out to Pasar Malam at Batu 5. It was opposite the beach and camping site, so we decided to buy the food, crossed the road and had our tea there (at first, we wanted to go to Teluk Kemang). 

We stayed until after sunset. 

8.30 pm

Samudra Ikan Bakar PD. There're a few other kedai but they are all at that one place. Next time, if i wanna google - can just key in the Samudra Ikan Bakar. We ate Ikan Siakap Bakar (RM45). The service was good. 

11.00 pm 

Headed back to hotel. Showered, prayed, watched TV and sleep. The two bedrooms are not besides each other so we three just sleep together in the bigger room. 

12th December 2021 

7.15 am - 8.45 am

Went to the beach at the back of the hotel (Pantai Tanjung Gemok). Water-play done, went to the cafe to grab our packed breakfast (Nasi Lemak Ayam). 

9-11.30 am 

Ate our breakfast + coffee. Coffee uplifts, enliven the mood. Slept for half an hour (coz what's better to do after u're full haha) showered, packed things and got ready to check out.

Assalamualaikum. 

Last week, early November i actually had an accident. I fell off my bike, laying on the middle of the road. It was around 4 pm. I was fortunate enough (thank you Allah...) that the road was empty at that time, when it is always very busy and packed with vehicles. 

Another bike hit me from behind when i was just about to cross the road. It was scary to recall the incident coz i could picture clearly when the bike hit mine...

I got some cuts and bruises, mostly on the right side of the body. I went to no clinic until yesterday bcoz the swollen part didnt seem to disappear and it still pained me. 

I just finished online class when i went out that day to grab some food. There was no one at home too coz it was deepavali hols. So i stayed at home nursing myself for three days (sob sob). The next day, i tried to ride again being more careful, school is gonna start soon (already started by now) and refusing to make it a fuss - if i take the day off from school and having to explain everything. 

That same evening i also joined the usrah (online) and acted like nothing happened while actually i was in pain haha. And i didnt attend a wedding of a school teacher too due to that. Sorry. 

Alhamdulillah getting better.
