Bismillah.

It's my birthday. Alhamdulillah. A blessed 31 years of life. Thank you Allah.

I'm in the midst of marking right now, so gonna dropped some photos and write some more later okay.

In the morning, went campaigning for N16. Finished in the afternoon, had lunch at Cikpah's house. I was supposed to have Maths tuition at 12 but Aniq was unwell.

It rained quite heavily and i went to Zus to have my birthday coffee, kinda. Ordered the same Caramel Macchiato, less sugar, less iced but this time i added extra shot. Stayed there for an hour whilst flipping through the paper i bought earlier.

Went home and M bought me sushi.. thanks!

Evening - went to walkabout at pasar malam with the rest. Had good time buying food there since the last time i went to a pasar was at Bazar Ramadhan. Bought my all time fav - rangka ayam.

Night - watched Belgium Grand Prix. LH started at P3 but finished the race at P4. Max came sailing by as he guessed and secured the win huh. It was nerve wrecking as usual, i was so nervous the whole race haha

One funny thing was, the app that i subscribed to blocked any screenshots - so that one time i ss the race, what i got was black screen.

I recalled during my school years, i followed the Formula 1 closely GP after GPs through the newspaper and sports news - but mostly the result and now, adulting gives me ways to spend some money to watch the races live.

The interest nonetheless ceased for sometime when i went to boarding school and university - due to time constraint etc, now i got to pursue the hobby and what's nice was the driver who i first liked is still driving :D

selfie with the scarf M gifted me thanks again

Do not be sad over things you do not have, look out for things you are already in possession of and be grateful.

(i dont know why, i am fine, living my life day in day out when some people are so disturbing saying things like why i am still single & (me wrote a poem already on that haha).. im like, you know what, it is a rezeki from Allah -  marriage is the longest form of ibadah and im not getting married for the sake of pleasing ppl @ for me to say, yeah im a married woman; inshaAllah when the right one comes by, you'll hear from me (and in the mean time, if you cant stand me in my singleness, pls just go away :p) and one more, whenever i say something sad or hopeful, ppl will be like oh, she must be sad for being single, ugh...)

Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal <3

When I’ve Got No Husband and No Kids

Saturday, July 15, 2023

me literally when they say those things straight to my face :p

When I’ve got no husband and no kids

They say;

You’re many notches lesser in responsibility

Got no hubsy to entertain

No kids to feed, bathe

No house to clean

Literally none to tend to.

When I’ve got no husband and no kids

They say;

Why the need to go home early

Why the fuss if you have to stay back

Why can’t you sacrifice your weekends

Some smirking, some smiling nonchalantly.

When I’ve got no husband and no kids

and chose to sleep in on weekends

eat out at restaurants

spend time reading (forever & always)

watching movies

strolling around places

They say;

Oh, lucky you!

'Cause you got no husband and no kids.

When I go out on my own

Sipping hot cappuccino alone

They say;

Oh, pity you!

'Cause you got no husband and no kids.

When I’ve got no husband and no kids

and said I’m occupied

Yeah, am busy now

They say;

What for?

You can’t be serious

For sure you’ve got plenty of free time on your plate

'Cause you got no husband and no kids.

When I’ve got no husband and no kids (yet)

If you’ve got no nice things to say

You may as well just shut up be kind.

Assalamualaikum.

Last weekend, i went to Melaka, accompanying a friend for her program at The Pines Hotel.

DAY 1

I parked my car at her house and we carpooled there, started the journey at 4pm; a bit later than planned because i lost my way to her house haha my bad

snap a photo to send to my mom

We arrived at the surau we supposed to have a liqa' around 8 pm and ate dinner. We could checked in first but to save time - went straight to the surau.

Tazkirah from Ustaz Hazmi Dibok after Isyak prayer - finished @ 10.30pm

Met K Farah there and she was surprised to see me too..

The Pines was 15 minutes away from the surau and we headed there, and stopped somewhere to buy drinks.

on the way

came across my students - Afiq and Arif during check in :D

Arrived at the room, it's spacious enough, had supper with nescafe ais and tauhu begedil.

DAY 2

Since im not involved in the program, i stayed in the room until it's time to check out and had brunch.

had a cup of coffee + reading prisoner of azkaban - the version i newly bought. so serene alhamdulillah.

getting ready, plain blouse and tudung but comfy

another photo with k farah, my uni senior

next, we went to this museum -  spent an hour plus there and at 4ish, we started the journey home

and so far i could remember, never been in this part before when i brought the kids (school trips) - usually we went straight to discover the other parts - a famosa and climbing up the stairs

been here many times already before and i just sat there in front of the museum entrance looking at the remains of a famosa

no, i wasnt reading in the museum; just a prop - the book i brought in my bag

 stopped by @ ZUS Coffee Ayer Keroh area

Alhamdulillah safely arrived at 10.30 pm. Thank you Allah :)

Eid Mubarak 1444H/2023

Assalamualaikum.

A bit late for the update this time (writing this post in June '23)

Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah for the opportunity having Ramadhan and Syawal with our loved ones. Not taking things for granted.

This post will be lots of photos and these are gonna be the ones on the first day of Aidilfitri.

First part : Morning at home

daughters

three generations

Mothers may differ in their management, but the hope is the same in all - the desire to see their children happy.

thank you for everything

Mothers are sunshine-maker of the family and if they get dismal, there is no fair weather.

Woman’s happiest kingdom is home, her highest honor the art of ruling it not as a queen, but as a wise wife and mother.

second child is a difficult one :p

Sometimes even grown women need their mother’s comfort so we can just take a break from having to be strong all the time.

the one who gave me the title mokdik

When you feel discontented, think over your blessings, and be grateful.

With friends, one is well; but at home, one is better.

When you get to the end, you see that love and family are all there is. Nothing else matters.
